  • If your Canva account is a HOT MESS, it's time to get organized! In this video, I'm sharing my best Canva organization tips that without a doubt - will help you save time in Canva and speed up your content creation and design workflow... all while giving your personal brand a little BOOST:)
    How to decide to organize Canva is totally up to you (and what makes sense in your brain!) but in this Canva tutorial, I'm going to walk you through 5 simple steps that you can take (Canva folders included!) to get your account in tip-top shape and ready for graphic design success.
    While I can't walk you through every.single.detail in this video, HAVE NO FEAR!
    Over in the Brand Boss Design Club (my branding and design membership), you can find The Canva Cleanse, which was a live event I held to get all of my members started on the right foot.
    Organization is EVERYTHING when it comes to designing in Canva.
    In the Canva Cleanse replay, I walk you through step-by-step how to clean up and declutter your own Canva account.
    Yep... I'll hold your hand through the whole process!
    On top of that, there's even a workbook to help you get through it all when it's time to tackle that unorganized mess of yours, AND an Interactive Canva Folder Planner that will help you plan out your folder system in the best way possible. BOOM!

    Is there a way to move them to a folder, but in a way that they don’t then show up in Home Recent projects screen? That part drives me batty! lol

    In case it hasn't been mentioned, another tip for bulk managing (if you hate clicking one by one like I do), in list or grid view you can click to the right of an item and drag the mouse over the others. If you want to skip one or two, just let go then hold down the shift key as you repeat that motion over the new grouping of items.

    Thank you. I have struggled with that forever. I am going to use folders now. Do you know if they allow tagging so a file can be in more than one location? I find some files could easily be in two folders.

    Thank you for the video. I'm trying to use your video to organize my Canva, but my problem is that even though I move my designs into a folder, they both still show up on the homepage AND on the Projects master list. Do you know of any way to get the published designs out of the way, so that I can have some overview of what I've published and what I've yet to publish?

    Can all of these great types be applied to a team setting. I’m the graphics person and I share with a team of 6 people. If a create the folders in the team account and move all the files in their right locations will the rest of the team be able to see them is I share the folders?

    Do you have any tips for someone who works on multiple projects/brands (two completely different podcasts) who is looking to create automated content for both brands? It is an absolute necessity that these two projects be kept separate, seeing as they are for different clients and require completely different content.

    Am I the only one who still sees all their files/phots and it still looks like a mess even though each item is in a folder? It just not says what folder they are under and not moved into that folder?

    I have followed this and put items into folders but they are still showing in recent designs. Is the point not to have them in recent designs and all filed away? Is there a way to remove designs from the recent page once filed please?

    Loved this! I never thought about starting at the bottom when designs/images are sorted by new/old. I thought that there was a way to sort my folders. I used numbers in some of my folder names so that they would sort by month/year. Can we no longer sort folders? Thanks.

    • @KristinWithanEye
      @KristinWithanEye  Год назад

      Thanks, Theresa! If you go into the list view of your folders, they are auto sorted by the time you last edited anything inside the folder. I don't see a way to sort them in A-Z order, unfortunately! Happy organizing! :)

    Is there a way to download your copy from a team folder? Or an email way to copy team folder designs to your main Canva account?

    • @MelodieLicht
      @MelodieLicht 9 месяцев назад

      I just learned this yesterday! Instead of using 'copy link' scroll down below and get the 'Template Link" this allows you to open a copy in your own account and use/edit the template as you wish.

      I cannot stand the Recents area. I wish Canva would make them disappear ONLY into folder once sorted. Idk if you are like me, but when I see the recents as I organize - I then can’t figure out which ARE in folders and which are not. 🤦🏼‍♀️
