Just a note on the excessive shading I deleted: I left that part in the speedpaint so you guys could see the true art process instead of me just editing it out. Sometimes you'll draw a bit too eagerly, then find that it looked better without all the additional flashy and distracting shading that's unnecessary, especially depending on what kind of style you're going for. In a lot of cases people don't tend to realize that sometimes less is more, so don't let your reflections or shading get out of hand unless you're going for a set style. Mess with your levels and find out what combination looks best!! As much as it sucks that I did all that extra stuff just to end up deleting it, I'd rather like the finished product than have too much to it, it's just not as pleasing to the eye.
