- Hey guys, here's a look at MCA Reborn, and some of its core features and functionalities. The mod is receiving lots of updates, and is currently available to Forge and Fabric users on Minecraft 1.16.5 and Minecraft 1.18.2.

This mod is so much fun. I’ve been making this town, and had a regular guy named Eric. Eric grew to have a wife and a child, but he lost his child very early on, and later his wife died to a zombie too. After they both passed, he got super depressed and became an archer, where he defended the village as a widow.
He tragically passed recently during a raid, but he killed a lot of pillagers before he died. Absolute madman, I have a huge memorial for him in my world.
I absolutely love mods where you can create your own story and not only your own, but another's NPC.

This mod is perfect for a zombie apocalypse modpack too, since it would be cool to fight off zombies and survive while building up your civilization

Wow, this mod has updated so much from just a minecraft girlfriend simulator. I hope they add inter-village relations and possibly wars as well. I think that would be pretty neat.

Can i request one thing? Add compatibility with some mods like ice & fire and have custom jobs for it like "Dragonslayer" or "Monster Hunter", and if Wizardry end up coming to 1.16, add a "wizard" and "apprentice" jobs, if it's not too much of a hassle to do it, i mean

This, in my opinion is the greatest mod was ever created in minecraft. It makes solo and multiplayer A LOT more fun. Not only it brings life into the village, bringing more options to choose and interact with villagers, but also making solo players feel much more happy and willing to play for a long time, and also to pay more attention to the village (i lived in a wooden house while my villagers live in modern houses). Absolutely amazing, now seeing this mod comes back again. I love it.
I personally want to see two things in this newer version of the mod that were either in the older version or are now possible on this version:
1. I would like to see criminals. Since you can rank up to Mayor and King, it'd be cool to see Villagers either disobey the King by not paying taxes, or even start to steal items from the players base or from other villagers, either by tracking where their spawnpoints are, or via other means. It'd be cool to see some villages have that one "bad apple" slowly make the other villagers angry.
2. It would be really cool to see Pillagers receive similar treatment as the Villagers did in MCA. Human models, maybe even villages of their own? You could even try to befriend them by giving them emeralds or iron tools, then later on having them follow you to begin raids on other villages. It would also be cool to see Villagers retaliate against Pillager outposts or villages too after raids.
It would also be cool to join the pillaged and lead them or build a village for them. Or even turn them into peaceful ones and establish business between villages / cities. And I don't know if it's possible to know, but it would be cool to fence off the area as safe (that is, the borders of the village and at the same time without spawning mobs) :D
It's very unlikely for you to befriend an Pillager, they are dark warlocks racists that do experiments in living beings and also are barbarians, they are pretty much very, very evil.
They also slave other beings.
My personal head-cannon for the drastic appearance differences are based around matpats illager theories, with the illagers screwing around with dark magic, finding out, and being cursed with pale skin and a fat nose.
There is hope 😭 I missed MCA so much!!! (That would be cool if the pillagers also had their models changed to look more human but I’m not complying I’m just happy)

I love this Mod and I look forward to seeing more Updates for it. I hope those Updates make it compatible with other Village Mods, like Tektopia, or maybe a few Fantasy Mods, like Ice & Fire. Maybe this Mod could be compatible with the famous *Origins Mod* and the Villagers could have their own Origins and in turn, their own Cultures relating to said Origins. I'm eager to see what Enderian Villagers will be like.
I think it would be hard to make it compatible with for example Tektopia as both mods change the vanilla behavior of villagers and villages which would be conflicting. And (I would assume) it's fully compatible with Ice & Fire as I don't recall Ice & Fire changing anything about villages
@@CyberCrow4 I can see what you mean on both terms. For Tektopia, I think it would have the same mechanics as the Mod was designed, just help diversify the Villagers by making two Races: One Race would be Testificates and the other would be Humans. Which could also be compatible with the aforementioned Origins Mod. As for Ice and Fire, I think it would add in new Villager Jobs, like Dragon Hunters or Monster Dealers (Someone who trades Monster Parts on the Black Market, like a Gorgon Head for example).
Tektopia and MCA Reborn change villagers with their custom ones so they could not work together. It's 100% compatible with Ice & Fire since Ice & Fire doesn't do anything to villages, although you will have additional ice villages with Ice & Fire snow villagers that look like vanilla ones but the default villages use MCA Reborn. You could use it with the Origins mod but it wouldn't do anything to the villagers.
@@Madmonkeman I understand what you guys are saying, I'm just being open minded. That's the whole point of Minecraft, you know. Sure, there would be a few Bugs and Errors here and there, but *if* the Tektopia and MCAR Devs were to collaborate, I'm sure they'd work them out. But, I just used Tektopia as an example. I'm sure there's some other Villager Mods that could be compatible with MCA Reborn. Keep in mind, this is all speculation, I'm not saying they actually should if they don't want to.
Also kinda hoping it'll allow some compatibility with the millenaire mod

Long before that, we had lost our only son, Chris. Macey got depressed, but eventually she was able to recover.
We lived in a lonely farm in the forest and it was not very safe there at night, so we decided to move to a village where there was security and light. Everything seemed to be ok. We settled there, Macey got a job and I opened a mine and started building a wall around the village. But one fateful night my lovely wife went out for a walk and never returned...
I received a letter about her death...
I turned off the game...

The NOSTALGIA this mod has is amazing and I’m so glad it’s coming back for the new versions of Minecraft!
Minecraft Reborn has come quite a ways since the old days! Reviving without using cross mod interaction, guards and building new additions to the village itself is very nice feature I don't remember for sure! Very cool showcase!
Oh I've missed the old days of MCA and playing on the Official server that the Original developers had put into place, it was a bit messy but I've had such good times back then, those memories are very dear to me. I'll definitely keep update with this new version of it!

I would love to see more villager automations where if you build a school the children will automatically go during the day. Or like occasionally they would for example dance, talk to each other, or some kind of actions so they're not just wandering around into random areas. Also I don't really like that they just auto marry without having a dating stage first and I'm not sure if they're able to reproduce on their own (if yes how do I make this happen) Thanks a lot this is an awesome mod!

I wish that they could add features like villagers helping each other, villagers actually doing their job instead of magically having the items for trading, and a proper guard and patrol route system

I always loved this mod, but a feature I wished it had was the ability to have both MCA humans and vanilla villagers.
Same I kinda don’t want to use it yet for the reason of not losing my mending villager
@@ajanininja You can still trade with them like any other villager, so mending can still be acquired that way

MCA also works well with mods that add more to villages. MineColonies comes to mind, but others that just make them larger and more detailed does a lot for immersion purposes.
THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE MOD AS A CHILD, I'm too excited to play a whole gamethrough with it

I play this mod around 5 months ago where i managed to build a small village from scratch, started by 4 villagers (2 couples) and able to reach 18 villagers
Until a raid suddenly come. At the time i'm quickly trying to build a wall using any materials available in my chest box. Due to the size of the village, i can't manage to build the wall and as the result, 12 villagers died. Of all 4 starter villagers, only 1 survive. A female villager named lucy.
All the villagers got so depressed after that day and for hours playing the game, not a single baby was born. So i close the world and deleted it

This mod is even better than the original, I was so happy to find it for 1.16.5!
Imagine starting as the king rank and you have to manage your town in a kind of sub gamemode and you'd have to defend against waves of mobs by employing guards and constructing walls and the like.
This is truly exciting to me! I can't wait to see more!
If you use Better village mod with MCA reborn, make sure to put carpet on the campfire on the house roof. The villagers will jump into the fire, got stuck and have a painful death.

This mod seems pretty neat. It'd be neat if they made it so that vanilla villagers could also still work in this system.

I think this mod is a great combination of the 1.12.2 version of MCA and Tektopia!
I loved the mod in 1.12.2, however, I just can't LIVE without my villager farms from 1.14 onward. Given how seemingly hard it is to get them to be infected and cured, and the way their jobs seemingly work now, it's almost impossible to get a trading hall going. The more important farms like Iron Farms and Raid farms seem to also be killed by this mod.
I've been waiting for an update on this mod for soo long and it's finally available! I'm so excited to play it.
That was cool mod finally someone managed to port it and improve as well, and the king system reminds me of minecolonies but more simple
Bro, can you do a detailed mod review on Minecolonies? its a great mod for villagers just lacks interactions with villagers like this one, but is better in every other way, like building, crafting, mining and the devs are highly active as well

The older version has better option which allow you hire the villager to do work... the new version are great for crazy plotwist which from stardust valley to village resident evil.

@@vipmonky808 I know that when they get married you have to wait a while to build a big house (one with 4 beds) since when I built it, a couple naturally created in a while (I'm not very sure about this) good advice when you have a married couple stay pay attention when they have a child the game will notify you or when you give them a cake I don't know how long it takes when they have it but if they have it outdoors for example they will leave the child there and at night the zombies will kill him

i always wanted to play MCA when i was younger, but i never had java then. then, it didn’t work for so long. i came across the MCA reborn and joined the discord, so now i have the 1.19 update installed. i opened my game and i got the MCA pop up, and i can’t even tell you how excited i got

Minecraft Comes Alive seems to work , or at least load and play for a few hours lol, with the Regrowth mod that makes villagers create paths and tend to their village, too.
