I read your comment about you picking up a large version. I've found that the large fits my hand better as well, pretty much in every way. If you're looking for another, I recently picked up one of the Knives Ship Free exclusive Large Inkosi with Red Linen Micarta inlays. I'm amazed they still have any left.
I think I see a small indent on the blade,, are all CRK blades Rockwell tested at the factory?? Or am I mistaken,,? ps, I keep watching this video as I wait (impatiently) for this same knife to arrive, 😊
I’ve had the same knife for a few weeks now but with magnacut.. my 3rd crk overall. I’ve had the worst luck when it comes to retaining them. My first, a small micarta 21 insingo s35 was thrown out by a girlfriend while I was at work.. my second was a small, plain 31 drop point in sv45. Stolen by a cop. Decided to give them one more shot and ended up with the small inkosi. Would have gone for a large 31 but with their increased prices and my decision to keep it under $500, I was left with the inkosi. I generally prefer smaller knives anyway. I agree with your assessment overall.. I’ve always removed the lanyards though and I can’t say that I like or dislike the finger grooves.. they look good and funnily fit my left hand pretty well but they’re just kind of awkward with my right. Not to the point of being a problem but just kind of strange.
@@jseden I am so sorry to hear about your misfortune. Honestly, hopefully you’re still with that girlfriend, but I can’t believe she would throw away a knife like that. And shame on the cop. But I hope you enjoy the one you have good luck and keep it close.
@@markcoffman494 nah she’s long gone at this point but it’s the only thing I can imagine would have happened to that one.. and yea, that cop was an asshole. Funny thing is I’ve otherwise never lost a knife but somehow I’ve had awful luck with crks. Not the knife’s fault lol..
@@John..18 honestly those are two completely different camps of knifes. The Rockstead is a higher end knife for sure, but it has a harder steel. The finish is of a knife that’s a show piece. The Chris Reeve is a working knife that’s well made, to the highest degree. I prefer the Reeve primarily because it’s what it is, a working knife that’s well made. The rockstead, is a dress knife that’s well made. I don’t need that.

Comment about re-profiling the gripping position was already done-it’s called the Sebenza.
Fantastic review! Thanks so much for the upload!
The pivot screw is comically massive

At the top? That's a part of the design.
And yes, they're tested at the factory.
Enjoy your new knife, my friend! And welcome to the CRK family.

Chris Reeve’s S45 is at 60-62 hrc. Yeah it’s a bummer the blue ano wears off so quick. Good review 👍🏻
I like that mine came with no color. Just silver :-)
@@keenobservations3050yeah I have a large and small Sebenza both with silver hardware - best way to go 👌🏻
My biggest complaint about my CRK’s are the thumb studs. They really need to stick out a bit more
Awesome review mate!
Thank you so much! Just recently I ended up selling it. The fingers are just too small for my hands. I ended up picking up a large one.
@@markcoffman494 oh yeah judging on the size of your hand. Large should do better on yours.
Just got one love it
Is it better than a Rockstead.??

The simple solution of the pocket clip is to remove it
Good fucking review!
Thank You
*Reeve. Smh Smh...
Smh smh 🤦
If you want a modern chris reeves, try a WE elementum - blue titanium, 20cv steel.
Hmm… I don’t think a Chinese made ceramic ball bearing flipper knife is at all a good substitute for a CRK small inkosi.
20cv means nothing if they run softer heat treated blades as well. WE knives 20cv imo is not on par with like Spyderco S30v.
@Zen_EDC_DB I'd disagree.
Youre joking right
