Very nice car… One thing I would point out for you or anyone that reads this comment is the 60s Lincoln‘s are known to jump into reverse and I tell people all the time unless the steering column has been rebuilt I highly suggest that people do not leave the car idling without their foot on the break. We’ve seen it happen numerous times and it’s just an FYI / PSA.
interestingly, the original owner traveled nearly the entire united states from CA to FL on several road trips over decades. We had an incredible journal that documented every mile!
The 1961 to 1965 Lincoln Continentals are the most beautiful and the best Lincoln's ever..I used to fantasize owning one when I was 7 years old.

I think I read somewhere Lincoln sold these at a loss, or at least wasn't making much in the way of profit on them.
