RUclips can’t do the sound justice. I had a 2018 V4S with the full Akrapovic system and have a 2019 V4S with the Akrapovic full system. It sounds amazing. The tail on the V4 is too sexy to hide it behind that Termi potato gun. It would be like painting a cigarette in the mouth of the Mona Lisa.
Italian+Italian... need I say more! Ducatis have a long tradition in undertail exhausts and it only makes sense Termis would design it like this. Well done!
Yeah but on the older bikes they certainly did a better job at hiding the cans under the seat. With this Termi it just looks completely out of place and despite it sounding a little better and crisper than the Akra it just ruins the rear of the bike.
@@aanfarhan8852 Nah, my hears are ok so as the ears of every single japanese bike owner that put an aftermarket can on their vacuum cleaner to make the sound like Ducatis.

Avoiding that fluid drag is the single biggest benefit of a dry clutch. Dry clutches, as you might have guessed already, aren't bathed in oil. That means less drag and more power going to the rear wheel as well as cleaner engine oil
The undertail exhaust ruins the lines of the bike in my opinion, it's one of the things I dislike about my Daytona. I'd have to put an undertail that's flush with the back of the bike or keep the belly pan one.
The Termi’s definitely sound a little tougher than the Akro’s , the problem is that as people have commented it’s a bit of a funny looking fit. Are there any performance advantages to the Termi’s?
Also not a fan of the day clutch. To much noise for on the street. Kinda like gear drive in a car. The noise will eventually get to you. Sounds cool for a while then its just excessive noise.
honestly this bike is not friendly at all. yes, the performance is insane, outstanding, amazing but very deadly at once. although it almost kill me, but i love ducati very much, its like weed ... so addictive😊😄❤️❤️ ducati is for real speed addicts, not for slow rider at all 😄
Super !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Termis make more power over more of the revrange. The negligible increase in CoG actually makes the bike more stable. Cornering wouldn’t take a noticeable hit until riding levels so far in excess of what anyone riding at anything sub WSBK would possess as to be irrelevant (and easily compensated for with the rear brake at high levels of skill). By your argument the Akra engineers should have been fired for making the previous gens belly mufflers out of titanium, dropping 6-8 pounds from the lowest sprung point of the bike.
@@golfnerd3107 Firstly, apologies to anyone that owns this bike, because bikes are all about how they make the 'rider' feel... Not every other person with a subjective opinion. But ok: 1. Termis make more power than what? Is that tuned? What's the tuning software? Which air filter?.... 2. Based on the premise that the goal is to lower overall sprung weight, it matters where you put the weight on the bike. Putting an exhaust at the highest and furthest point from the centre of the bike is sub-optimal when geometry changes can be had so many other ways. In this instance, what if the rider doesn't want stability over agility? Or to have to increase electronic assistance or rear brake use? 3. If we're going to use the WSBK rider argument then every single performance modification may as well be thrown out the window because Marc/Valentino will be able to ride a stock bike faster than 99% of us. 4. And the reason for my apology, is that subjectively, it looks terrible.
Lucky O'Leary 1. More power than the akra. To my knowledge this system makes more power over the entire revrange than akrapovic, arrow, sc project, stock (duh) and the other termi belly slipons. 2 my point was not to say that increasing cog is a clear advantage, rather that the issues you brought up were way overblown. We’re talking about a cog relocation of likely less than 2cm and that you would either need math or an extremely skilled rider to tell the difference. And in the case of the rider it would likely be placebo. I doubt even Valentino and Marquez would notice a difference, there is a reason their bikes have potentiometers on them. As for the looks, that’s subjective. I think the termis make the v4 look more like a gp bike and less like a pissed off fire-ant. Also I’m biased as I own both an 1199 and 1098 with termis on them. I also still fall into the camp that believes Termis are to ducati what Yoshimura is to Suzuki. Finally subjectively I think the akra system looks like it belongs on a 600

Me personally, I would DEF du the Akra system based on it's location alone. I'm sure that Termi system is more weight* AND, more heat to rider's ass, sweeping back & up, under the tail, style. Both sound GOOD, to me. I'd go Akra.
