    Hello, Azi!
    We spoke recently... I'm glad I took your advice and went with the Tourist Visa as opposed to the Visa on arrival... I've completed the application online and paid my fee as well... I'm just in the process of gathering the rest of documentation so I can present to the embassy... My flight is booked for Mid-August... do you think there will be an issue since I've decided to get a head start on my Visa process? I have a little under 2 months before I head to Nigeria... just want to make sure I have everything prepared... hopefully I didn't start the Visa process too late/early... Blessings and I look forward to hearing back from you soon! :)

      I'm happy that you decided to take the tourist visa route rather than getting a visa on arrival in Nigeria! You should have enough time to get your visa back before your flight to Nigeria before August if you turn in everything and complete your biometrics before the end of the first week of July.

    Very informative.. Thank you so much. As an American, I'll be staying in Ghana with a tourist visa.. Can I apply for a tourist visa for Nigeria, when I'm in Ghana?

    They should simplify the visa process. This is why I won't visit Nigeria.

      I agree as the country would benefit HUGELY from tourism, but the government is corrupt with oil money. You'll see this by the poor infrastructure, unfortunately....

    Sir, I’m an American trying to get a Nigerian tourist travel visa, I’ve been to the innovate1 site filled everything out, and it doesn’t process, I cant get the payment process to work on the website either.. I’ve called their help line, no response, email their support email, no response… why is it so difficult ?? if there’s a chance to get you’re email, I could truly use you’re help.. one main question is if I live in Vegas do I have to physically go to an embassy in person? And how can I give a accurate flight date if I don’t know the processing time for the visa ?? I could truly use you’re help ! Thanks so much !!!

      You must understand that Nigeria isn't like the developed countries such as the US or many countries in Europe. The way it process its visa program compared to a lot of countries requiring visas from travelers isn't the most efficient way. It's a challenge to manage for many first-time applicants. My advice is keep trying as you should eventually process you application.
      If you're applying through a Nigerian embassy or using OIS, you MUST personally go to the embassy or OIS office to turnover your documents such as your passport and application. Also, you MUST do a biometric scan. You MUST have a purchased airline ticket(s) showing the dates of your arrival and departure. No airline company will allow you get on the plane without your Nigerian visa.

    Hi, thanks for this informative video. I'm having a huge problem uploading my passport photo. I have taken three different ones. I have even had a website resize it for me and it still won't upload. Do you have any suggestions for my problem.

    • @WanderlustAweSyndrome
      @WanderlustAweSyndrome  2 года назад +2

      You have to note the picture size of what the NIS (Nigerian Immigration Services) wants. It won't tell you pixel size as most online picture resizers do. Once you note it, you must convert the numbers to pixels, so you can resize it properly.

      @Wanderlust Awe Syndrome I've never applied before. This is my first time how would my Google login get me logged in please? I don't have log in information for the site.

      When you see the sign in page, there should be options to sign in with either a Yahoo or Google account. If you don't have a Google account, you can create one to sign in the OIS website.

    I have my passport and i booked my flight to Nigeria for November 9th through the 18th because i was told i need my ticket before getting my Nigerian tourist visa. I filled put the app online at the nis website and it wont let me submit my payment. The closest embassy to me is in Atlanta but that is still too far to make a easted trip what should I do

      Try online again. Sometimes, the OIS site is fickle. If that doesn't still work, go the OIS office in Atlanta or use your friend's resource. Use whatever will help you get that visa

      It varies. You should give yourself 1.5 months prior to your flight to Nigeria to receive your visa. Check one of my videos to find out why!

      If you call the hotel you're staying in Nigeria, you should get one. You can avoid using a letter of invitation by applying online with OIS.

      Nigeria is EXTREMELY strict on who can get VOA. If you're not doing business that'll help Nigeria's economy, it's unlikely you will get it

    This is false information. Tourist from the US can get visa on arrival.

    • @WanderlustAweSyndrome
      @WanderlustAweSyndrome  Год назад +1

      If you go on the Nigeria Visa website, American tourists can't get visa on arrival, unless it's for business purposes.
