What temp do you recommend I set the heat gun to?

Around 480 degrees.. make sure you also use flux which will help flow the solder

I don’t recommend doing this I ruined my xbox one s (It was in my wardrobe for a year anyways) but I don’t recommend doing this just take it to a repair shop honestly but cleaning or repasting is easier than this.
