Yesterday I’m at a red light and suddenly a car stops completely over the crosswalk. They obviously weren’t paying attention. They proceed to sit in the middle of the intersection until the light turns green, which is stupid because you already ran the light so just get tf out of the way. They proceeded to almost run the next two lights despite the fact that they were red the entire time we were approaching. Having a drivers license doesn’t mean someone can drive anymore…
I got into a fender bender a few weeks back, and she said I was completely at fault. After viewing my dashcam footage, the police determined it was 50/50 and neither one of us got a ticket! tl;dr = Always have a dash cam!
Last month, I witnessed an idiot in a car during my driving training with a family member as the instructor. Unfortunately, the car did not have a dashcam so I can only describe it here. So, a few seconds after I got out onto the main road, I saw a white Honda van in my mirror. He was riding my ass despite there being student driver stickers on the car I was driving. I was driving on a road with double solid yellow lines. After about a minute, he illegally passes me and starts speeding down the road, I think at least 5 or 10 over the speed limit. 2 minutes later, I catch up to the van, who is now stopped at a red light. As I apply my brakes to stop, he runs the red light and is stopped behind a brown car. Traffic had stopped for the bridge since it was open. As the light turns green and I go through it, I witness the Honda van go around the brown car and cut in front of him. Why did he cut in front of the brown car? To get into a church parking lot. On a Friday. 😑
At :37 the guy saw the vehicle backing out and did not try to stop. Sure he had the right of way and if the guy backing up hit him he would be dealing with insurance and body shop and maybe time lost using his vehicle.

0:30 I mean... I would call the one driving just as much at fault here. He was backing up for quite a bit before you even reached a potential point of contact, very easily could have slowed and stopped and second; he was going a bit fast not for nothing.
12:20 - Oh, the intersection by the boathouse is frequently a mess because so many people who've never driven in Boston or Cambridge think it'll be fun to blunder around there.
@0:43 I wasn't even aware that you could work as a truck driver if you don't have object permanency.
I mean, that's the only excuse I'm aware of for passing a clearly visible vehicle on the highway and then not knowing that it exists five seconds later like this.
Distraction or fatigue can do it. Some of those drivers work very long hours, and all drivers are susceptible to distraction. Put your phone down, people, even if you have a hands-free device. And if you're tired, pull over for a nap.
@@jonesnori You can't pull over to nap if you're on the fucking highway. You have to find a legal place to rest.
lol 7:45 I drive there all the time! It’s such an annoying exit and people never realize where they’re going 🤦♀️ nearly got sideswiped there multiple times
9:06 I know they didn't signal, but it was pretty obvious of their intentions. Plus he didn't need to follow them that closely!
If you look closely, you'll notice that the silver pickup's backup light(s) never turned on.
Whether the bulbs are burned out, or there is a wiring issue, or the shift position sensor is failing to note the truck being in reverse, it should not be on the road in that unsafe condition.
Massachusetts has annual vehicle inspections, and pissing off people in Medford can be bad for your health.

You know, if you see that the cars in the right lane have left a gap, you can assume it’s because someone you can’t yet see is trying to turn through the gap.
11:30 nice job speeding up once they turn their turn signal on lol. Moron.

literally there own fault how is a huge truck and trailer going faster then you?

@@dollysquee no Idea why a big ass truck that takes more then a mile to go 0-60 is going faster then you maybe learn to drive
@@SRTmac22 Why is a semi truck driver trying to push a car out of their lane and blindly merging into it? If he's going faster, he should have used the fucking fast lane.
@@LethalByChoice Maybe dont be a shitty driver😂😂
0:44 three things 1 you are going slower than a truck 2 The car is front of the truck is going too slow for the passing lane and 3 you were in their “no zone” (uncheckable blind spot) and stayed there. It makes a lot of sense that drivers could retake the license test 5 times per month
The truck did know he was passing the car, I wouldn’t call the cammer the only doing wrong, truck definitely weren’t right in pushing him in that, but cammer made dumb decisions and this could totally be avoided
6:18 You can see the rollover protection pop up, pretty cool piece of kit.
I didn't know that existed until you pointed it out I wonder how many people that saved?
4:45 "White van obviously ran the red light."
I can neither confirm nor deny that. I can't see any lights except the ones facing the camera car.
Usually lights turn red for 2 seconds before the next light goes green, and I have never heard of lights being green in those 2 directions at the same time, and I think it’s based off of the assumption that the red car was in the right
@@pi_man3and also did you see the speed of the van
0:35 I'm surprised too, since it seems like you weren't paying attention.
Clip from SJ Knows, note 2 things first the dump truck and who ever was next to him on his right left a space for the car to come out, I wouldn't doubt those 2 were waving the car to go ahead, second note the distance the cam car came down the center lane way before the left turn lane (the center lane is meant for drivers to enter establishments left or right, it is not an express lane to the left turn lane) If I was the insurance company viewing this I would blame the cam car for not observing the gap in front of the truck.
Why are the Tesla drivers always the self entitled ones?
All the BMW drivers moved to Teslas. Don't see any other explanation.
Idk, there are too many Tesla drivers on the roads now to say that
Bc they are special 🤦 y’all gas drivers got no chance
Yeah, they probably are not all entitled. It just happens to be a popular car with entitled people right now, but some bought them for environmental reasons instead.
So someone has the right to be an A-hole because they... have a different car?... right...
5:53 if I had a tow truck, I would tow that black car sitting in the middle of the road like nobody’s business
Uh sir they’re yielding to an ambulance….
@@midnight_x_edits Stopping in the middle of the road is NOT yielding to an ambulance. You pull over first and stop so they aren't forced to use the opposite lane unlike what happened in the video.
these clips are amazing for hazard perception
1:40
Yes the other car was at fault... cammer should have been a bit more careful though.
Those are the consequences of runnin down the suicide lane.
Cammer is at fault..partially. Improper use of the turning lane.
8:50 this is in Missisauga lol, I had someone driving like an idiot at this same intersection
seeing drivers like this make me glad i continued driving during covid. everyone seems to have forgotten how to drive after 2020
When i was a rookie truck driver i accidentally pushed someone out of the kane. They met me at the trucj stop all mad and i hadn't realised i did it. I tokd them. "Let me park, ill buy you lunch, it was an honest mistake." Ended up being a good conversation and a great lunch. If you make a mistake folks learn from it.

First video is DEFINITELY a classic Nissan driver maneuver.
9:28 people keep saying the cammer is being dramatic but he isn’t that dramatic. It’s an understandable reaction. He didn’t scream or anything.
Personal opinion. He should've never been that close to begin with. The other guy wasn't paying attention while cammer was being dumb
1:00 when i was driving from LA to pheonix az, same thing happened to me. semi in left lane, im in right, bro pushed me into the shoulder. i'm glad watching dashcam videos on youtube taught me to always be aware while driving :)

I love watching these videos while driving!
💀
You seem super smart!
9:06 oh no, he even STOPPED and then continued to back in. My blood would be boiling.
It was pretty clear the truck driver was about to do some maneuver, the dashcam shouldn't have been that close on him on such a small road with a whole lot of parking situations happening.
Cammer was following too closely
3:27 why is he putting it all over there ⁉️😭😭
I think he put it there because cars won’t be driving right up behind the white car and when police are called about the incident it’ll probably be properly cleaned up then 😊
1:42 This traffic is packed during rush hours, I recommend do a U-turn instead dashing out in the opening.
@0:33 is the stupidest.. didn't even honk before continuing to go same speed without even trying to avoid a collision. yeah the truck should've been paying more attention but the cammer is lucky they didn't get hit.

Remember yall, stupid people always have the right of way.

The amount t of people that are so unaware that a device further in front of your view can spot a blinker, but, you can't and won't prepare for it?

Unbelievable scenes! How do they even drive?
The Dashcam Nation's driving approach caused problems to other drivers.
At :37 the guy saw the vehicle backing out and did not try to stop. Sure he had the right of way and if the guy backing up hit him he would be dealing with insurance and body shop and maybe time lost using his vehicle.
0:32 The cammer clearly wasn't paying attention either
