This is a really smart move from LG, either they put out a random video on their channel, which only fanboys will directly watch from there. Or you pay a large youtuber a good sum and 10 mil people watch it because youtube will recommend it to linus viewers

There isn’t much difference at ALL that goes for every tv this year🤦🏻♂️ the only difference is processors and hdmi 2.1 for Sony and Panasonic.
Yeah they're talking about "better colors" but we all know it's just marketing bullcrap for the averages consumer. Color accuracy is already good enough on 2020 models that the human eye couldn't tell the difference, so unless they're talking about better color volume (meaning better color accuracy with higher light levels) then the difference is none.
@@FlipperWolf even colour volume would have to be a large % jump to notice LG cx was around 75% so we need 80%+to really notice

I think the smallest you will see an Oled Tv/Monitor is 40''. Fact is the CX 48'' and 55'' have a £20 price atm because of a January sale LG have going on. The bigger the panel the cheaper manufacture is.

LG CX (2020 model) firmware 03.21.09
reduces gaming brightness by 20%, CES 2021 our new oleds are about 20% brighter. Coincident ? lol
Well considering Sony did the same thing I would say no. The fact that Panasonic has been doing cooling with their oleds and has always been brighter of all the oled for a while I'll say its that.
They do not update the firmware in shops, so IMHO just a coincedence.

Gauruntee yoy the G1 will have raised blacks while the c1 will finally be fine the CX had raised blacks and even the c9 had some at launch so the g1 I expect to be even worse worse those because of the brightness boost lol took them what 8 months to fix the issue on the cx with the latest update actually even longer so it kind of defeats the purpose of oled perfect blacks lol but hey we shall see

G1 (OLED evo panel) is 55, 65 or 77 inches. C1 ("regular" OLED) is 48, 55, 65, 77 or 83 inches.

Literally, I didn't notice Linus at thumbnail.
I just got a CX about a week ago, still have a chance to return it before Friday. Is it worth doing so or will I have to pay more and wait longer for this. Also open to alternatives saw TCL came out with new news as well. The most important feature to me is MINIMAL response time/input lag comparable to PC monitors.
Yes it will cost alot more. I do think the G1 will offer quite a bit of better performance though but it's never really worth buying TVs at release unless you're loaded. I upgrade every year but i always do it at the end of the year and then sell my current OLED, the resale value is suprisingly good. So end of this year i will sell my Panasonic HZ1000 oled which is the 2020 model and get a G1 or A90J instead.
