Taeyang's vocals were truly immaculate during this era. BB had a difficult military time bc media and press wouldn't leave them alone. I don't think any other group experienced so much harassment by the media. While other groups get only positive media play articles written about them while in military, BB faced so much invasion of privacy, false accusations, and malicious articles. Other groups get to continue pushing out content, going to other's concerts, and releasing songs while in military and no one bats an eye. But when BB released Flower Road (when Tae and Dae enlisted) they were accused of violating military rule which prohibits soldiers from engaging in activities while enlisted. YG had to clarify that the song was written prior to TOP enlisting. When photos of TOP were taken on GD's enlistment day all kinds of malicious articles were written saying TOP was skipping out on military service to appear at GD's enlistment, when he actually took a legitimate vacation day. When GD was hospitalized for an ankle injury, press hounded him and wrote all kinds of articles saying he was receiving special treatment bc he got a single room. Meanwhile it was the hospital that had to put him in that room for his own safety and for crowd control. Then media said he was given preferential treatment bc he had taken too many vacation days when in fact, those were sick days taken because he was healing from major ankle surgery. Even the military spoke up and denied the allegations, but media still would not leave him alone. They even went on to say that GD couldn't get promoted bc he took too many days off. ('Till this day ppl have a false narrative that GD got off easy during military bc of vacay days)They even stalked Taeyang and Daesung's buildings to find anything they could pin them on. They did this all when they were in military knowing they were unable in a vulnerable position, unable to fend for themselves. Even when GD came out of the military, on the very day he discharged (a happy day), the media tore him apart saying the angle of his salute was incorrect and that he was being disrespectful. Yet not a single article when any of them got promoted in their ranks or when good things were said about any of them in the military. Like when GD held a seminar on suicide prevention. Or when he left his credit card for his fellow soldiers to use freely at the convenience store at any time. Media made it their mission to ruin BIGBANG...so it's no wonder they went through a difficult time.

Started listening to Kpop because of them in 2009. US market really missed out big time on them, could've been a Beatles/Queen/Jackson 5 esque level boyband if Kpop was as prevalent now in the states.
Bts is okay to but they song produce and make by bang si hyuk more. Bang si hyuk are bosses in hybe label. Bigbang make own song more especially GD than label make it for them. So diffrences i think is that.

Yes Bigbang lived together in like a dorm like setting. They are incredibly close. TOP and Ji both had an extremely hard time during their enlistment period. We almost lost TOP during this time 😢
