It provides an Expression Pedal which can be assigned to the effect you want to control for real-time effect changes or master volume. The 99 included factory presets let you jump right in, and 99 user presets allow you to store all your favorite effects. PLus built in drum machine, looper

    Nice demo! I bought the Valeton a few weeks back but I haven't started using it yet. I have this (extremely slow moving) plan to wait until my new home studio setup is ready... whenever that is. Still rocking my POD HD 500X and get a few decent sounds out of it. Pretty sure the Valeton will improve some things though. Love the LTD guitar too. Wish I had one. I really like my LTD Michael Wilton model but it's the only LTD I own. They make quality guitars for reasonable money.

    Can the pitch-shifter effects be connected to the expression pedal to make this pedal function similarly to the DigiTech Whammy pedals? If so, how good does the pitch-shifting sound? Thanks!

    • @GuitarSafari1
      @GuitarSafari1  4 года назад +1

      The pitch shifting is good. I will check the expression pedal out asap, and let you know. Cheers

    • @TarenLeitzke
      @TarenLeitzke 4 года назад +1

      @@GuitarSafari1 Thank you! I also saw in the manual that the pitch-shifter effects are polyphonic, which typically seems to be something available only on much more expensive multi-effects pedals, so is it able to pitch-shift multiple notes at once pretty well or does sound quality start to suffer when multiple notes are pitch-shifted at once? Thanks again!

    • @OD138
      @OD138 3 года назад

      @@TarenLeitzke can you use it to quickly tune your guitar down a half or full step? When I'm trying to learn a song that's tuned down I want to have something that is quick so I don't have to tune the actual guitar.

    • @TarenLeitzke
      @TarenLeitzke 3 года назад

      @@OD138 I opted for getting a used DigiTech RP255 instead of this. When I was researching pedals, I found there appear to be two main styles of pitch-shifting: pitch-shifting that you can set at a certain distance above or below and it will shift all notes played, and pitch-bending which allows you to pitch-shift notes on the fly using the pedal to some maximum or minimum difference (this second pitch-shifting style is often called a Whammy effect since it is sort of like using a Whammy bar). I found almost all multi-effects pedals have regular pitch-shifting, but fewer pedals have pitch-bending capabilities, with the DigiTech RP series and the Zoom G1X Four being some of the only cheaper multi-effects pedals with pitch-bending. The pitch-bending isn't great if you want to down tune your guitar, though, since it is hard to keep the pedal at a specific position unless that position is fully up or fully down. You probably want something more like the first style of pitch-shifting (the RP255 and G1X Four have both styles). If you need to quickly switch on and off the down-tuning effect, I know some pedals have buttons that you can store presets on, allowing you to quickly access those presets. I believe the GP-100 is similar to my RP255 in that the buttons on the front only scroll through presets and there aren't any available buttons to store presets for quick access. I'm not sure off the top of my head of a specific multi-effects pedal which might have quick access buttons. Boss and Line 6 both have some high end pedals with almost everything on them, but they are also larger pedals so aren't as portable if that is something you care about. I hope this helps!

    • @OD138
      @OD138 3 года назад

      @@TarenLeitzke Thanks. I actually have a Digitech RP255, I also had a Zoom G1on but accidentally broke it. They both have pitch shifters that have worked the way I use them. When I'm learning a song that's tuned( usually) down it's nice just for convenience and quickness, not the best sound quality but works, they even simulate a bass if you need something on the fly. I have never used them with the expression pedal as a whammy but they might work that way also. I still mostly use the Digitech but was just wanting something new to play around with. It was between the Nux mg300 and Valeton Gp100, it kinda looked like the Nux just had the Pitch bend so I ordered the Valeton, hasn't arrived yet but I'm hoping it will work the same way the Digitech does.
