it's normal to not sing backing vocals urself when you're singing a solo song live. all artists do it when singing by themselves

you must be too used to group vs solo performances. soloists mostly do not sing backing parts whereas groups usually guve backing vocals so sub vocalists. it’s not like she’s lipsyncing anyway.
