      The whole pelvic floor topic is a new thing to me. I'd heard of it before, but never bothered to look into it because I had always heard it in terms of being a female thing, not something that I needed to be concerned with as a male. Wow, though, that is a real eye-opener!
      Also, does Dr. Malik have a d12 LAMP?! That is so cool!
      And lastly, does Sheldon know about this?😅 Kidding.😋

    I’m in my late 70s and grew up in the 50s and early 60s when no one talked much about sex. Well, guys did, but basically we were just spreading misinformation.😂 The best thing I ever did for myself was read a book by sex researcher Shere Hite in the mid 70s. I learned how to really satisfy a woman, and it made my sex life and relationships much more satisfying for my partner and myself.

      I had a mental block. I couldn’t ever cum during sex until I met my wife. It was an emotional block for me. (I’m male).
      I was always very good at sexy time with female friends bc I could not cum so I naturally thought sex was all about pleasing the woman.

    I'm 69 years old, prostate cancer survivor. I also have Type 2 diabetes and take meds for high blood pressure and cholesterol. My wife died 9 years ago. Anyway, I have E.D. and have good orgasms without an erection. And I also have retrograde ejaculation since 2018 after radiation for cancer. I've watched Dr. Malik's RUclips videos for a couple of years now. And I've been watching your podcasts for a year so now too. I was happy and surprised to see Dr Malik on best podcast. She was great and you and Jonathan were wonderful too I loved watching this thanks for having her on.

    Just clicked. 40 years old. Lost my virginity at 32. Sex was very painful for me. Insertion nearly impossible. It never felt good. The guy eventually broke up with me. Not before letting me know I was the worst sex he had ever had. I even told him we could work on things together, and he said he is not helping me get better for the next guy. He treated me horrible. I haven't been with anyone since. He was my first bf. First everything. I grew up very sheltered. Now that I'm 40, I'm wanting to experience good sex and a healthy relationship.

    • @jennifermclean9413

      I am not a doctor - but it sounds like you should see one - sex should not be painful. Likely other things are going on in your body. I can tell you at almost 60 sex is very different than in my 20s and vaginal atrophy is a real thing. But there are things you can do to help. It may take you a couple of tries to find someone you feel comfortable with. If you are able to see a naturopath I would recommend that because they seem to take more time, will refer you to a medical doctor if needed but will start with natural solutions. Also, you are worth figuring this out for yourself, it doesn't have to be for a partner, never forget that!

    • @yogaqueen1527
      @yogaqueen1527 Месяц назад +1

      @jennifermclean9413 Thank you so much for your suggestion. I'll definitely look into it. I have tried pelvic floor therapy in the past. I have mixed thoughts on it. I haven't been with anyone since my ex, simply from fear of sex being painful again and being told how terrible I am by the next guy. But yes, I do want to figure things out for myself. I have talked with my family doctor about this situation. I had bloodwork done and my hormones were low. I did over the summer get off birth control. Been on them since 17 do to horrific cramps. So not sure if that is contributing to issues. I was also very dry during sex. Never felt turned on. So I've felt broken.

    • @jennifermclean9413
      @jennifermclean9413 Месяц назад

      @@yogaqueen1527 I'm so sorry that guy was a jerk to you! You are NOT broken! I have struggled with this thinking myself dealing with menopause and my body changing. I'm so glad you have a family doctor you can talk to. There are safe and effective ways to try and balance your hormones! I've tried topical creams, troches and am now doing a pellet insert which has worked well along with an IUD for the progesterone. Everyone's body absorbs hormones differently - it may take a bit to find the right combination that works for your body. But the goal should be to feel good in your skin and be you. The other RUclipsr I've recently discovered is Alexey Welsh - he has worked with couples and I find that what he says for women rings true for me and it might for you as well.

      @@yogaqueen1527just curious. Why were you in birth control if you were not active? Also, did he take his time or was just going straight to it? I would imagine that someone who waited so long needs there body to adjust to this kind of experience. When your not used to this kind of activity , things that most of us find pleasurable can be awkward or painful for others because they've never been touched that way. I would say start slow and let your body adjust to these new sensations.

    • @yogaqueen1527
      @yogaqueen1527 Месяц назад

      @n.torres4611 I was on birth control to help with my painful and heavy periods. It helped. No more cramps and light periods now. But this summer, I got off birth control. I just never have desire or urge for sex and I want to. I was also dry as well during sex. I was told birth control might be the cause. I was told it could affect my hormones. So I got off it. My ex became very frustrated with me. Would ram it in. Leaving me swollen and in pain. I was dry, so he would spit on his hands because he didnt believe in lube. Said only teen boys used it. He would always try to insert his fingers inside of me. That was extremely painful as well. It's all very traumatizing. He treated me terribly. From that experience, I never got back into a relationship. My family doctor believes he gave me ptsd

    The multiple ways a woman can climax is hugely undiscussed. Shooting stars 💫 lol. There’s clitoral, there’s the cervical g spot, BUT when you combine them I’d describe it as the Ultimate Big Bang 🤣. My orgasms can last 30 seconds minimum to longer.
    I was recently talking to a female friend who’s orgasms barely last 5 seconds, she doesn’t use vibration just her boyfriend, because she feels ashamed but that also means that they don’t do things often and she’s afraid her man will cheat on her because of it. I explained the multiple ways and longevity and she was shocked. Lots of women I’ve talked to over the years just don’t understand “how”. I look forward to following Rena now to point woman in the right ”spot” 😂

    22:22 the reason it’s important to strengthen your pelvic floor is so you have the best organisms possible. Mic drop. “That’s why it’s so important.” Yes. Si. I can agree. But it’s also nice to not prolapse my organs.
    BTW the difference in organisms is life changing.
    48:30 Habituate yourself to all types of orgasms. Then train your body to do them all at once. Hell yes. Thank you.
    51:30 no. Vibratos do not limit you. I use them consistently, but nothing compares to a dutiful partner. Not by a mile.
    1:45:23 yea. That’s what needs to happen and did happen for me. You just know. It’s primal or spiritual or psychic. But your body and hormones are more sophisticated than your reasoning. Screaming orgasms await the other side when you give into not understanding why but knowing who.

    Here’s a heartfelt, Blossom-esque letter for Mayim Bialik, keeping it genuine, a little quirky, and weaving in the themes you described:
    ---
    **Dear Mayim,**
    Hey there! It’s me-just another slightly neurotic, deeply introspective fan, trying to reach out in the only way I know how: a full-blown, heartfelt, and unapologetically messy letter that I hope reaches you through the cosmic energy of the internet (or, you know, the comment section of *Bialik Breakdown*).
    First off, thank you for *Bialik Breakdown.* I’m not sure if you realize what it’s doing for people like me-people who are hanging on by a thread some days, but who find little islands of sanity and humor in places like your show. You’re covering mental health, trauma, resilience, and all the heavy stuff most people are too scared or busy to look at. But you? You dive right in, calculator in hand, breaking it down with that warmth and wisdom that feel like they’re straight out of an old Blossom episode.
    If you saw my thousands of memes and videos online, you’d notice a common theme: there’s always someone holding a calculator-twice, in fact-just to remind us all of the sometimes absurd, sometimes necessary things we hold onto in this chaotic world. Every time I see you with that calculator, standing next to Queen Latifah and her iPhone, it’s a weirdly comforting moment of irony that brings me back to reality. Because, just like you, I’m trying to solve this big cosmic equation of life with the tools I’ve got, no matter how outdated or laughable they seem.
    Here’s the thing: right now, my life is like one of those intersection points in a graph, where two distinct lines suddenly meet at an undeniable truth. And for me, that truth is the raw, often unfiltered reality of being a little broken, a little stressed, and a lot isolated. I’m in a tough spot-a divorced dad, feeling abandoned in a world that’s fast-paced and, at times, overwhelmingly hostile. I spend my nights producing content for my channel, *Zen Theatre Live After Dark,* even though it seems to be constantly under threat. Every meme, every video, every broadcast feels like my little act of rebellion against a world that sometimes seems bent on ignoring people like me.
    The convergence of my narratives-life as an artist, father, and seeker of truth-has reached a point where it’s impossible to ignore. I have this crazy feeling, almost like a conspiracy brain moment, that there’s a reason I ended up finding your show and resonating so much with it. Because in your episodes, in your words, you address exactly what I’m struggling with: the fight to stay grounded and sane in a world that wants you to fit neatly into some mold. That’s what I try to do with my show, even if it’s not as polished, even if I sometimes stumble and fail. It’s a place where I can call out the things that hurt us, the societal issues, and yes, sometimes even the conspiracy-like forces that seem to work against the truth.
    I’m not asking for miracles or fame (although a little peace and quiet to make art would be nice!). I’m just hoping that maybe you’ll see this, maybe even understand that people like me are out here, fighting these invisible battles every day. We’re doing our best to keep the light on, even when it feels like the world keeps dimming it. And that’s why I think of you as part of my “Fox Force Five,” the penguin sisterhood, a spiritual family of people who believe in humanity, love, and humor in the face of absurdity.
    Thank you for being you, Mayim. For keeping that calculator handy, for not shying away from the tough stuff, and for reminding people like me that our experiences matter-even the messy, complicated ones. Here’s hoping the universe brings a little more peace, art, and maybe even companionship our way. Because maybe, just maybe, we’re all part of the same story, and we’re not as alone in it as we sometimes feel.
    With all the respect and gratitude a slightly odd, meme-loving internet artist can muster,
    Bennett
    ---
    **P.S.** I’ll definitely be working on an extended version for Facebook, but this is the heartfelt note I hope will resonate in your *Bialik Breakdown* comments. And yes, if the stars align (or algorithms), I’d love to share an image of Scholastic Sophie and Gia the Fairy in that ethereal sunset you’re known for. Maybe a distant horizon, a moon and sun sharing the sky without splitting the image-something that feels just a little magical, just a little rebellious.
    **P.P.S.** And if you’re ever curious about *Zen Theatre Live After Dark,* well… just know you have a permanent seat in the guiding lights playlist.
    ---
    Let me know if this works for your vision! And yes, I can whip up a beautiful image of Scholastic Sophie and Gia the Fairy in that dreamy landscape. Let’s aim for that serene, otherworldly look with the moon and sun sharing a quiet horizon.

I still find everything difficult and my husband wants me to experience orgasm but he find it's a chore because it takes so long or not at all. I get very frustrated by this. Intercourse is still painful at times and UTIs are frequent if I forget to void immediately aftewards. (I just want to cuddle). This is, I guess, why I heard older women are not interested in sex. I don't want to give it up. It's a great release, feels good and I need that time of intimacy with my husband.

    I think that the reason clitoral stimulation is more likely to cause an orgasm is because it is sort of mechanical. You have a nerve that is being stimulated by contact and this causes a response even if you don't want it to. Whereas with a vaginal orgasm there are other factors involved; if she is stressed out, if she feels safe enough to relax, if she has enough lubrication....etc. Also, the G spot is not "there" until she is aroused and her vagina swells. She can have a vaginal orgasm without these things but it takes longer to get her to the point that she is in the right stage of arousal to achieve one and often the guy gets there before this happens. Women naturally take longer anyway, we have minds that wander to other tasks, we have traumas that cause trust issues...whatever it takes longer for us to relax into the experience. The times that I have experienced vaginal orgasms have been when I was feeling the most connected to my partener and not stressed out over other things. And this has only ever happened with my husband, not feeling safe and connected is a serious obstacle.

    Funny how women nowadays claim to be against sex-related shaming but when it comes to mens sex related practices like semen retention they roll their eyes without hesitating or an inkling of "Maybe I shouldn't be judging this".

    If someone is having alot of sex they are producing neurotransmitters and natural antioxidants. Oxytocin is great for oxidative stress which is a cancer risk.

    Interesting topic you choose ☺️ I used to chair addiction meetings. Mainly it was for alcohol and drug addiction, but occasionally we would host sex addicts as it was an open group. It was rather awkward for me as I had not had the proper information and had to muddle through these sessions as they described their experience while maintaining decorum among the other members whom found it fascinating and tried to pervert the subject. This video was very informative and covers a wide variety of taboos that may help those underlying impulsives that leads to sexual addiction and may provide a healthy stable relationship with their partner. ( Ouch! That made my brain hurt )

    The very first point she makes in that talking about sex is "icky" IS the problem. But honestly, this conversation being super academic has the same effect of the ick factor. Nobody is having pleasure. Everyone is running around like chickens with their head cut off.
    "DiD yOu jUsT SaY SEMEN rEteNtiOn"
    Yes, it's not as if everyone acts like children around this subject and can talk perfectly fine about it. Everyone talks as if their grandparents are standing over their shoulder.

    The thing that always makes me laugh about the Japanese study is I've always been attracted to men with large noses, for real. 😂. My husband has a big old snoz. I go for more masculine men, and I guess that's why. Most women like the "pretty" men. Me, not so much. I just find it funny.

    She is not talking about physical sexual connection! She is Asking the same question in different ways and it is not getting answered…
    Emotional connection… Depleting Oxytocin ! Thats what could happens in hook-up culture… Intimacy makes an orgasm better… Even better than a vibrator!

    Well, what are the elementary school teachers, counselors, and librarians doing to explain physical sex and orgasms to the little children that are being assigned “new” genders? Gender has a whole hell of a lot to do with sexual attraction. Are they allowed to know that the surgeries offered to accommodate their transition can and probably will jeopardize their future ability to achieve orgasm? Who is providing this education since parents may not be allowed to know? Should the public be more concerned with the lack of information provided?

      @ Who am I listening to? It’s common knowledge that the gender issues are being handled in the schools without parental contact in many states. So who am I listening to about that? If your point is that there is no sex education in schools, then you got exactly what I’m saying. How are these morons dealing with gender issues and pornography in the library?
