    That's some serious low action!

Listening to the (official) instrumental of this song, you can easily tell that this video is just a cover, and not actually how Tobin plays the song. It's still a good cover, but don't mislead people in saying that this is the "official bass track" when it is not.

This track is actually part of the multi-track used for Rock Band, so no, this isn't a cover.

@@3sweetsugarhoney3 RUclips isn't letting me post comments with links, so the following timestamps are in reference to the video titled "Papa Roach - Last Resort Instrumental" by the user RarePapaRoachTV.
0:15 the bass plays a high D right before the 1st verse
0:26 the bass plays a high D in the middle of the 1st verse
1:03 the bass plays a high D in the middle of the 2nd verse after that little fill
1:22 right before the "Nothing's alright" part in the 2nd chorus, the bass plays a low D 8 times, goes up an octave and plays a high D 6 times, a high C 1 time, then a high D 1 time
      1:39 during the 2nd "I'm crying" line, the bass plays a high B 3 times, a high D 2 times, a high B 1 time, then a high D 1 time
1:44 right before the "I can't go on" part, the bass plays a high D 1 time then an open B 1 time
2:26 right before the "Nothing's alright" part in the 3rd chorus, the bass plays a low D 8 times, goes up an octave and plays a high D 6 times, a high C 1 time, then a high D 1 time
2:47 during the "Living this way" part in the outro, the bass plays a low D 8 times, goes up an octave and plays a high D 6 times, a high C 1 time, then a high D 1 time
      2:49 during the outro, the bass plays a high E 7 times, a high D 1 time, then a high C 8 times
All of those differences are heard in the instrumental track, and subsequently the actual song, but are either changed or completely absent here. So my best guess to explain this disparity would be that either the band recorded multiple versions of this song (possibly an album version and/or a single version and/or a clean version), or the Rock Band stems were played by someone else instead of Tobin and the other band members.

Believe it or not, bass tracks are quite helpful for amateur bass players when they want to learn how to play a song and they don't have the tabs.
