This is one of the best explanations of this vehicle I have seen yet. Thank you for this! We just bought an Aviator Reserve today and absolutely love it. I haven’t driven it 20 miles yet but I’m going to break it in tonight once it finishes with its detailing. I was lucky and copped an interior that was identical to the one in this video except beige. I did not like the Brady Bunch 1970s wood paneling in most of them. I did not understand why they didn’t make the inside more modern. I guess they think they’re trying to stay luxurious, not realizing that it’s outdated AF. 😅it obviously wasn’t a dealbreaker for me or I wouldn’t have picked it out. This is my first one. I hope I continue to love it! ♥️

Good evening Steve! Could you let me know when you will be previewing 2023 Grand touring Aviator but more importantly the plug in cable it comes with and male end and what type of receptacle is required for 220 volt! Cheers
Hey George! I'm in a 2023 Aviator tomorrow but it's just the regular gas model. I have a review of the 2022 Grand Touring that is relatively unchanged in the 2023 that you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/LIkkOYnjyJg/видео.html You'd need to get an electrician in to wire up a 220 female end in your home or have them install a change station instead!
unless I missed something, during parking it did not appear that there were other vehicles when vertical or parallel parking was taking place. Why Lincoln did not offer the same parking capability with the Nautilus is something I just don't understand. Still awaiting the self leveling headlights in addition to adaptive. I also would love to have a touch pad in addition to the touch screen as a bad shoulder make reaching the touch screen awkward particularly when moving. With the MKX I use a pen with rubber tip when making adjustments and setting navigation -- voice for the MKX is not very good. Love the fact that the wiper for the rear is hidden and again, why not with the Nautilus when in addition to the Aviator, the Corsair also hides the rear wiper blade and also has full almost autonomous parking.
Editing magic.. although you've given me an idea on how I can do camera placement for the next time I put together a Park Assist video! I agree, not sure why the tech isn't the same for Park Assist across the Lincoln lineup. I find that the voice assist is good in late model Sync3 but great in the Sync4 system
@@CarsWithSteve my MKX is a 2011 with only 108K Km and back then the voice was not great. I have basically been advised to keep the MKX but I keep learning about new vehicles that I like in case I move on. I like EV but charging stations are an issue and PHEV while handy for local is creating an expense for at least a level 2 charger that likely would not get repaid for the few Km that I drive now. I like a lot of the tech that both Genesis and Aviator have but neither have all that I like so there is no rush, particularly with the purchase/delivery time issues as well as pricing with dealers selling over MSRP. Would think we were trying to buy a home eh?
@@phlotographer The MKX is a great vehicle and still fairly low km for the model year! The charging station locations and distance range are what have me apprehensive about going EV right now. If you aren't in a rush to get into something the Lincoln lineup is going electrified with the new Zephyr that took over the MKZ sedan. Should be a few more years until we see more PHEV and EV from them!

Hi Steve! I just got my Aviator 2 days ago. Love it so far! Question is there a way to turn off when the doors are locked and someone touches the handle, all the lights inside the car turn on. We feel this is a safety issue, people can now see what’s inside my car. Thanks so much for your video.
Hmm.. without the key fob close it's odd that the interior lights are coming on. You could turn off intelligent access but that would also mean you need to unlock using the fob or 5 digit number
Thanks Bob, appreciate that. If the car is on and you walk away with the fob on you it'll lock the doors automatically but as far as I know the Lincoln lineup doesn't have the option to lock the door automatically

@@CarsWithSteve Its our first new new vehicle as a couple so were pretty excited about it. Still getting used to the lane keeping assist vs. lane centering. Not sure what the big difference is, and if it is even active or not. I'll need to read the manual some more. Also it comes with Sync 3 if I understand correctly. Do you know if they can update to Sync 4 via firmware update, or is Sync 4 a different system/monitor that would have needed to be installed.
@@ryguy5254 That's exciting! The lane keeping will gently nudge you back in your lane if you start veering into another lane without using a turn signal. Lane centering keeps you in your lane by turning the wheel for you. You turn the lane keeping system on by pressing the button on the tip of the left turn stick. @@CarsWithSteve Steve! Found out a bit more about the Lane Keeping Assist. It doesn't activate until you are driving over 40mph. Also, if you set it to "Both" Aid and Alert, the steering wheel won't vibrate "until you are further out of your lane." Which I tested a few times, I feel like you would need to be more than almost halfway through before it alerts you, which defeats the purpose of the alert.
