I wonder if the Lake House is being attacked by the Dark Place’s artist/painter. We know Zane deals in films, and Alan deals in writing. So maybe the reason the monster came out of the color in the walls is that it’s related to painting.
Well, that looks terrifying. I'm pumped. The FBC facility with the windows overlooking the lake; is such a beautiful visual and it works so well with the setting. At first, I was a bit bothered by Jesse not being the protag, but Kiran will do fine, contextually, it makes sense.
a lot of us are asking "where is jesse after the events of control 1?!" with each piece of content i get the feeling like she'll have something big on her plate something that. the concept art image we got felt like a serial killer leaving a statement piece designed to get the FBC'S attention. maybe some opposing faction throwing down the glove as it were? kiran was probably one of the first waves of agents being sent out into the field after the lockdown lifted. so it makes sense backup or a good line of comms was not immediatly available after she found the lake house . So why don't we hear something about relaying all of this infomation back to the director, especially after wake and bright falls were involved (again) and bright falls was apparently one of the last seen locations of darling appart from the oldest house. it all seems like a big big problem has (litterally) landed on the FBC's doorstep and no one can be spared to help other in the field. And now that dylan is involved somehow i think we'll be seeing jesse soon enough.
I love that the Alan Wake universe is constantly made fresh by these playable subplots putting us in the shoes of supporting characters, BUT I really want a continuation to Alan's own story and whether or not he's definitively gonna get out of his predicament. C'mon man, it's been 10 years.
Alan Wake 2 seems to be a very female-driven game.. half of the main game is a diverse black woman. 2/3 of the first dlc, you play as 2 women and all of the last game is played as a Hispanic woman.. Odd

That's the thing even in original story you barely play as Alan. I couldn't care less about Saga
Did you not see what the DLC is about? It’s running at the same time as the main story. Alan would be in the Dark Place.
