its because the playerbase has been conditioned to do so. Blizzard messes up, Players complain, Blizzard releases a half assed fix, Players rejoice and applaud then forget there was ever an issue in the first place. Ring bell, dog hungry, feed dog, gold star 10 out of 10.
You know, this was probably done on purpose. Release this with a patch to fix it already half done to release the next day, just so they look like the good guys that "saved you" from the bad patch. "Omg, they work so quick to fix things too, it's a totally new Blizz!"
I would suggest everyone to not fall into the FOMO the devs are intentionally pushing with the pre-order early access: the expansion is nowhere ready for launch. By playing in the first weeks you are basically paying full price to be a beta tester
Still having issues with not receiving Residual Memories for some kills, or only 25 and sometimes not receiving exp for Alts I'm leveling. Overall, been a bad experience. The revamp helped, but it's still not working consistently.
you would think after 20 years they would realize that having super rare drops with a 0.5% DR or something similar for once in a lifetime events isnt good design. sure people will go turbo nerd for them but that doesnt mean they are fun or even engaging gameplay. even worse after so many events where people probably leveled all their alt to cap so they dont have one below 70, so they have roll an entirely new character just for a minuscule chance at getting a random shield drop for transmog. In typical Blizzard fashion, three steps forward, two steps back.
they needed to cut one whole xpansion up into a "3 part saga" and sell all these 1/3rds of an expansion for a full box price with 100 bucks super ultra mythic versions with 3 days early beta testing slapped onto it.
My biggest issue with the pre-patch event is; it's just bland.. Nothing exciting. "Ooooh you get to fight Hakkar, Onyxia, Rag, Arthas and don't forget Hogger! But this time they're blue!" Maybe it's my greed talking but I do wish there was more, at least something more unique.
That’s fine because the pre-patch event isn’t for you. It’s not supposed to be “content” it’s just a catch up event for a few weeks to help people level up and get their alts some gear to start the next expansion.
@@CatDad09 every pre-patch even so far has been the SETUP FOR THE COMING EXPANSION STORY with some story relevent quests attached to them. this one is just a giant circlejerk of nostalgia baiting, which isnt even half cooked. I can fundamentally tell you all why Blizzard is doing this in recent days It's because in recent days, the developers that still "play" the game, tend to focus on M+ now Nowadays, the devs that worked on Open World? They do the bare minimum for Open World. Sure, Open World IS there, but it's treated like a college student doing work "If it's not immediately important? I'm putting off working on it until the last minute" Most of the times I've seen devs (or streamers) post any gameplay or hype in anything, it's always been M+ or Raids world first. Even class balancing is based solely on this. If your class is subpar open world, specially because of a bug? that's put waaaay in the back for fixes.
The game took a bad path a long time ago, when they started hiring former raid-only autists like the Elitist Jerks kliq as devs (around WOTLK era). During the golden age of WoW barelt 2-3 % of the player got to complete ever single raid, and many of them just never killed a single boss
It’s still not going well, apparently quest rewards unlocking all reward appearances on beta is seemingly a bug. You have to repeat loremaster on multiple characters despite morgan day kind of saying the opposite of that
Shaman talents are so bugged rn, you can’t even copy and paste TWW prepatch talents in. I tried to get my updated talent tree and it didn’t work. Feels bad cuz I wanna play my shaman rn
Ya know, it's currently day 10 of the pre-patch event. It's better now that it feels quick and easy to get into an event no matter how early or late in to grind and get the currency and experience. My only complaint now is just how meaningless this is to the overall lore. We won't ever see these visions again when we go to the new zones, and it will just be forgotten again. No thought was put into this event--they were just like, "Uhh... visions and... bosses? Sure, yeah, let's do it." I miss Legion...
It was nice to have access for a weekend after not playing for 3 years but...I'm still not seeing a reason to come back. I want to see TWW stick the landing long term or I'm not convinced. And I sure as heck didn't care for the bits of DF I saw.
Isn't this just the Wow/Blizzard Entertainment user experience at this point? Whether its Diablo, OW, or WoW? People should just not rush to play their games pre or post launch for awhile. Give them maybe a few weeks or so post launch day to iron out the issues and so on.
Channel is in full on simp mod as always when an expansion launch is coming up. This prepatch was an embarrassment and it goes far beyond warbank and the new event being trash. I faced more broken quests in the first week of the prepatch than on most private servers I played on in the last 10 years, far more. Old content scaling was wrecked, the new event is still boring as hell and the cosmetics are trash tier. In general, Dragonflight has been a fizzling fart ever since 10.2, they had 6 months worth of content for the expansion and everything else has been reused garbage.
blizzard to busy focusing on woke agendas you can tell by that weak cinematic on that threads something its soo weak I don't even remember whats its called it was pathetic a disgrace to the name Warcraft might as well rename it Softcraft
Don't give them props for fixing something that should have never been released in such a garbage state.
shit runs rampant in games nowadays, people suck companies after fixing shit that was released horribly broken

I’m having the same issues. Alts not getting experience for some events, mostly in northrend it seems.

5 second quest line is so true. What the hell happened to good long storylines? The balance of power comes to mind.

None of this should be a surprise. No one should expect Blizzard to execute on something well.
I am so uninterested in TWW that I'm genuinely hoping they delay it
Why?

The main thing that irritated me about this prepatch is that all the rewards look like shit
Did him dirty with that freeze frame
Blizzard hasn’t done a smooth WoW launch at all this year. Cata was launched as hot garbage.
Sacked all the non-essential stuff and rushing expansions and releases for cash, Remix was also trash for a while.
Sharding also has the opposite issues. I keep getting put in zones with zero players. Ill zone in and out several times until i get a good shard.
It’s still not going well, apparently quest rewards unlocking all reward appearances on beta is seemingly a bug.

i lvled up 5 warriors 10-70 and did not get the full sturdy recruits set.

Guild banks are still broken, can't withdrawal any amount you want only what is on your character once per day. So dumb!
i left mop to get on my main to do the pre patch and I was like ok now what do it do after 15 minutes lmao.

Is this from a livestream? How do I watch the full session?
Go to the playlist tab of their chnanel and there is a live vod list
I do have other games to play *looks at Steam backlog*
But I'm still playing TF2.
2k could take notes because online modders make online play so bad. I'd rather get kicked on the nono repeatedly than play 2k games online 😂😂😂
Ugh. I wish ya'll would drop the FULL SHOW somewhere for us to watch. Or atleast tell us how to watch the full show.
They never put in links for some stupid reason, it's on the vod playlist on the warcraft channel
You people still play this grinder coop game with the warcraft frenchise name?
Wish blizzard the very worst for the paid early access move, currently enjoying playing other games and it will likely stay that way.
