Too bad the trip was cut short but better safe than sorry with the cat and weather. Those views were still amazing with those towering buttes in the area. I'm still amazed at where they put those trails. Glad you made it out safe. Take care and have a great day.
Oh man. Missed mountain lion photo opp. But I would have been outta there fast after seeing that. Doubt I would have taken a pic even I would have had my camera. It is a pretty place. The low hanging fog is pretty. Haven’t taken a hike that long in several years. Just can’t do that anymore. Camera doesn’t ever do justice. Sure is a great hike. An experience you’ll never forget.
