Squirrel Girl is a pretty decent DPS, but her ult isn't very good unless the whole enemy team is clumped together in a confined space. But that's fine, I'm glad not every character has a squad-wiping ult. Overwatch kinda went overboard on the overpowered ults and it got kinda tiresome.
As someone who mains SG for the DPS roster, I'm not bummed by the health change. Those things run so fast that it's actually hard to hit them anyway with anyone who isn't Iron Man, an enemy Squirrel Girl, Scarlet Witch, or Cloak.

Was not expecting the seasonal buffs to stick around between seasons...very odd. The overall changes are such a light touch, it probably won't shake things up too much
They clarified in the patch notes that they didn't changed the team ups this season because Season 0 was short and they wanted people to get more used to the team up mechanic, they did said that they will redesign the team ups in Season 2 (and that's probably going to be the standard going forward)

hey once you get to higher elo (high gm-) you will notice magneto and thors ults wont catch many people and they are used as “zoning ults” similar to how you herd sheep to a specific area hope this helps

Rivals devs did say they were going to focus on Buffs over Nerfs, with very light touches on nerfs to get characters to where they need to be balance wise. They don't want to just completely nuke characters like so many other Hero Shooters have done by over correcting. Plus S0 was hella short, so they only have what, a month of data? Now they'll have a full 3 before the next season so they can adjust with more data next time

The bullet after the kick and grapple should do more damage than normal, that’s a high skill play. Her sprint was buffed which is nice but she still underperforms. Why does her bolt action sniper have a reload? We are moving in the right direction for this character but there needs to be a bit more.
I wish characters like Scarlett Witch and Cloak (not Dagger) would need to track the opponent and not have auto aim... But give them more damage instead, so the better you are, the most value you can get out of the characters. Right now it's just a low skill floor and low skill ceilling character, very boring to play as and against.
Black widow needs a rework. This does nothing for her. Her batons are useless. Her E ability is a joke. Worst ult in game. They have to fix this character

Honestly these seem like patch changes more based on around high elo play. I’m a GM1 player and I will tell you at that level panther is actually insanely overpowered. He’s an unkillable backliner with easy execution. Characters like punisher and Bucky are actually really weak in high elo as they are low mobility and easy to dive
This is definetly the season of adam warlock ....practically untouched , neither nerfed or buffed but has the 4th highest competitive winrate last season ? Check .....the only 2 strategists that are considered more valuable to bring than him got nerfed ? Check..... And he got arguably the coolest skin in the battlepass ? Check. The new combo will likely be him and mantis to utilise the team up and damage , or him and luna for a team rez / invunarability ult combo ....luna mantis will probably still be a thing early on in the season but now that luna cant spam both ult stances like she did at the same time shell very likely drop in pick rates ....people mainly complained about her ult being a 12 second invunerability for the whole team ....while also provoding the team with a constant damage boost from spamming both stances , now thats out of the picture shes honestly less worth picking than adam. Either that happenes or invis woman destroys the strategist meta and invents a new combo.

Hulks shield gives invulnerability for 2.5 seconds, reduction from 250 to 200, means 2 seconds instead of 2.5. It is not 50 less damage before it breaks.
Hulks shield does not give invulnerability. It has a set amount of damage it can take before it breaks, the duration of the shield is still 2.5 seconds

Also wanted to mention, contrary to what's stated in the video during psylocke's section, Magneto's bubble also has a health pool and is not invincible, but it does block overflow damage, so the wearer is still protected from one-shots like tony or Wanda's ults.

I think Thors health is going to lose 75hp on the 10th. He currently has a 100hp seasonal buff so it will end up being 525hp base. Cap/storm team up will give you 625hp

Black Widow is under 40% winrate in GM and above on PC ( it is 32% on console!!!!!) . Whatever the devs thought when designing and balancing her... The result is a failed character design and a wasted slot on the roster. The "buffs" here wont change that. She doesnt deserve to be this weak only because ppl suffer from widowmaker PTSD. Rather give her a rework into a hybrid who is effective at mid range, like bucky. Two pistols, a stun from her iconic wrist band and some other fun stuff. Then call it a day. Because even that would be better than the failed mess that the devs cooked up as Black Widow for launch. In a game where "everyone is OP" the scoped sniper archetype is WEAKER than it's counterparts from countless other big shooters that came before. The guy in the video doesn't understand how damage falloff works. At 40m he will now do 60% of his total damage, instead of 65%, which is a nerf
They nerfed his original area damage from 70 to 65 & actually lowered the falloff slightly, he does less damage overall including from long range

Wolverine is already weaker since day 1 and you need to get good to make sure to utilize all his skills. this stupid balancing update doesnt give him more advantage, now compare him figthing a cocaine spiderman, crackhead iron fist and black panther, he cant even dodge, evade or escape when his all skills are all consumed. thats so unfair

I think Thors health is going to lose 75hp on the 10th. He currently has a 100hp seasonal buff so it will end up being 525hp base. Cap/storm team up will give you 625hp
They've already mentioned they aren't touching seasonal buffs until season 2

Whatever the devs thought when designing and balancing her...
The result is a failed character design and a wasted slot on the roster. The "buffs" here wont change that.
She doesnt deserve to be this weak only because ppl suffer from widowmaker PTSD.
Rather give her a rework into a hybrid who is effective at mid range, like bucky. Two pistols, a stun from her iconic wrist band and some other fun stuff. Then call it a day. Because even that would be better than the failed mess that the devs cooked up as Black Widow for launch.
In a game where "everyone is OP" the scoped sniper archetype is WEAKER than it's counterparts from countless other big shooters that came before.
All the drawbacks of a scoped sniper but not the biggest benefit and main source of satisfaction for that archetype - the scoped headshot oneshot!
