Since you want to talk about elixir cost then what about recruits and goblin barrel evo? Defender usually has to over defend to avoid damage at a net loss. The game is an unbalanced mess but the skeletons that die to anything are too strong apparently. Even though everyone brings a small spell anyway. Rage is in so many decks right now. Also log and earthquake. Only a bad player lets evo skeletons get value.

I think the biggest takeaway from the video was that Miner + Rune Giant is a very good combo.

He put down the evo skeletons pre nerf and they instantly died. But they totally needed another nerf.
Evo skeletons were way to good for 1 elixir, deserved nerf
they died to literally everything. But I guess it can be a dead card just like all the spawners
Everyone was using arrows and/or rage so they were a dead card like 90% of the time, the nerf definitely felt a bit harsh
