I felt that the politics were vapid in that they were saying too much so that they really said nothing at all. Also it left kids confused and kind of bored. I don't think it's fair that we grew up with apolitical children's media (that was often still funny and meaningful to adults) and now kids have to be asking what patriarchy is when they just want to laugh at a Barbie movie lol
