Hi, The closest country to Ghana in term of Similarity is my country Côte d'Ivoire by far . In Côte d'Ivoire we say Akwaba .Southern Ivorian and Ghanaian are the same Akan people , they speak almost the same language , they dress the same and belong to the same ethnic group . Unfortunately the two countries ignore each other because Côte d'Ivoire speak French as in fact they are cousins . Ivorian have the same names : Koffi , Kouadio , Nanan ... Because of Colonisation the two countries consider themselves differents. A second difference is that like in Nigeria Côte d'Ivoire has a big muslim community in its north part . I also lived in Senegal for two years and their jollof called"tchep djen" is by far the best in the world.

Akwaaba to you anytime you want to visit us. Vandals is not an occult but a tradition of fooling around campus that was done by a particular Hall in the campus called Commonwealth Hall. The crazier they go the better.
Vandals are not a cult in Legon; it is the nickname of the student residents of Commonwealth Hall at the University of Ghana. They are not violent, they are not criminal, they do not harm anyone.

Some VANDALS used to go half naked with their boxers during hall week celebrations or possessions at night time. I miss my UG VANDAL days.
