Hi, prawn love the videos. They help me out so much as I’m new to all this. Quick question though hopefully you can help me out, can I plug my cpu fans in to the hub as I only have one RGB header on my board
One of the ports is CPU specifically. You'd then connect the hub to the CPU fan header on the motherboard. The only thing is all the fans would then adjust according to the CPU temp probably. But that'll at least keep things cool.
Hey man, i bought the Montech king 95 pro case, but my motherboard doesn’t have a 3pin 5v rgb header. It is a MSI PRO Z790-S WIFI. Is it stil possible to buy something extra to connect it to my motherboard?
I have the A version of that mobo. I would have thought any Z790 mobo would have multiple ARGB headers, but I looked and it sure doesn't. Just saw a video of a guy using a "Gamer Storm RGB converter". Search YT for "Hooklng 3 pin ARGB to 4 pin RGB header" and it should come up.
Hey Prawn, quick question are the Montech fans able to go on an AIO to give it a more uniform look and if they were which version the RX or AX would perform better.
Really enjoy your videos when i can catch them, ive decided to go with some Thermaltake SWAFAN EX14 ARGB Magnetic Quick Connect pwm cooling fans in the 3 fan pack for my build (using the Lian Li 011 dynamic XL case that i had previously watched on your channel and made my mind up then ) question too you is the Thermalright ARGB and fan hub controller compatible with the thermaltake fan connectors?cheers.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thanks for the heads up,hoping it got you curious,i havnt ordered them yet so im happy to wait for an appraisal from you perhaps sometime in a future video
got a quick question for ya if your still seeing replies here. Is there any way to adjust the 'speed' of the fans that are part of the King 95 Pro case that comes with the controller pre-installed? Not so much the RGB, but the Speed of the fans themselves.
If the controller connects to a chassis or sys fan header on your motherboard then it'll be via the bios or you could use an app like Fan control or your motherboard software
I have 11 fans that have rgb, what should I use to use them all. 3x 140mm AX 4x 120mm AX 4x 120mm RX I use a Montech Sky Two GX case, which has 11 fans that can be installed in the case, I'm a little confused, Because I didn't find a single RGB hub on the market that can be used for 11 ARGB fans, do you have any suggestions?
I have the King 95 Pro version. I can control the AIO fans and pump RGB through the provided fan hub, but cannot get the case fans to sync with them, even though they are on the same hub. I have tried everything I can find to do to get the case fans into motherboard sync mode. If anyone knows the proper way I would really appreciate it. I've held the button down for all different numbers of seconds. The fan RGB will flash twice after 3 seconds and again after 5 seconds, but none on that allows me to control it through the MSI Center Mystic Light. I did hook the RGB cable up to my Galax RTXC 4070 Gamer EX and can control the RAM, AIO and GPU RGB, but not the case fans.
Literally every question I've had about my build, this guy has the answer in a condensed, easy to follow format. Thanks a million, sir!
I try my best.
Three fans on front Ax140 Montech in case Sky Two GX = P-preasure or F-flow or B-balance ? Thx !
Note to self: Buy an excessive amount of zipties or cable sleeves to control the madness that is RGB and power wires.
Yuuuuup

What about the 2 pin connector for the front panel light?

You could try the Razer Chroma RGB hub instead. That takes the RGB but connects to usb

The site suggests the specs are comparable so it might not matter. I've not tested to be able to compare I'm afraid.
Thank you my friend.

I've not used Thermaltake fans I'm afraid. So I don't know what the connectors are. If they're standard fan power and RGB then yes.

I haver this case with Montech fans using an MSI Z790. I can control my fans through bios or MSI Center.
Sata cable has to be plugged in

You'll either need to use two controllers or connect some to the motherboard
@@TheProvokedPrawn Is it possible to combine 2 controllers into one?
You must be MC with ur voice , btw ur pc look great .
Sorry for the unrelated question but can you mix sl infinity fans and tl lcd fans in a build?
Yes but you'd need their respective controllers

Can you turn the rgb off by pressing the led button? The included rgb fans?
@@doggotechsupport2840 Yes, hold down the LED button on the case for 3 seconds. May be 5 seconds.
