Murphy has had character development but he has ALWAYS made decisions that suits his self interest for survival. In the past he has often made the right decision at the end but any time he had an opportunity for himself/emori he’s taken it. So I don’t thing it would be a destruction of character development at all really
Someone on Reddit said that Josephine as Clarke was morr attractive than Clarke as Clarke and they are SO right. Josephine is confidant and cool, she has that natrual charisma that Clarke lacks. Clarke has always read as a bit socially ackward and unsure of herself even when try to play leader. She almost always second guesses. Josephine doesnt shes cool and collected and its refreshing to watch.
Rana and Chris are right the Children of Gabriel are the people in the woods. In Sanctum they referred to him as the Demon Gabriel. Love your reactions
I don’t think it would be regression for Murphy to choose Josephine. Murphy is a character that always puts his desires and needs above others. He sides with what is good for him. Murphy literally thinks he is going to hell because he is a bad person, so it makes sense that he would side with her because he already thinks he is doomed, and he is all about self preservation. It also works in favor of Emori’s character development because we get to see how she has grown to become apart of the group when she chooses to do the right thing.
It sounds like Octavia and Raven to me, but I don't really look into that stuff. Just the name seems kinda obvious, even though I don't see how or why that would be a thing.

The children of gabriel are the "forest people" not the people inside sanctum. You'll start getting into that and the old man from episode 8 on. Also episode 8 really progresses Octavia and Diyoza's storyline which is also the set up for next season.
It's not the "Octavia hate" people hate, it's the way its coded in sexist and hyper-violent language that seems to only be reserved for female characters...

I wasn't that surprised by Murphy. In fact, I've always been wondering why they have so much faith in him. They seem to think he can do no wrong. But I've always seen him as being selfish and ready to betray anyone to keep himself alive. He's also a shit stirrer. He constantly teases, makes fun of people, and intentionally causes arguments and disharmony. He may have been part of the group recently, but he's still the asshole of the group.
When it's extremely easy to prove that faith is based on lies well that's whenever you don't respect it and you simply point out the BS. It's not good for them or anyone else to let them believe in delusions. This is why we need to ban all books that contradict themselves and support extremely immoral things at least the ones that claimed to be holy. If it's a comic book or something like that then who cares however if it claims to be wholly then it shouldn't contradict itself and it shouldn't support anything obviously extremely immoral. If you're feeling defensive then ask yourself why you might be feeling defensive about that bare minimum requirement considering that if your book is not contradicting itself at any point in the book and does not support anything obviously extremely immoral then you have nothing to worry about and if it does those things well you should be able to understand that it's not holy.
