The game just updated today so I decided why not showcase all of the maps and if they have backstories to them or not! The two new maps are BEREZINA and TYROLEAN VILLAGE!

Tyrol is a region in the alps. Today it is part of Austria, but back then it was part of the Kingdom of Bavaria. This map isn't really based on any specific village.
You monster, i searched in google earth for 30 minutes searching it
I think the first map is based on Tyrol, Austria. As there was Tyrolean Rebellion on the 12th of March 1809 (correct me if I am wrong) against Bavarian occupation.
Edit:- Belligerents are quite similar as the main fighting was between Tyrolean civilians supported by Austrians against Bavarian.

I don't know about the background of either maps, and specifically Tyrolean village, but what I do know is that there are two notes (one upstairs which is a map, im assuming of where the Blight has spread), and one downstairs (accessible via spectator) under a bavarian and austrian shako respectively, on Berezina, under the arm of the French officer inside near the broken wall, is a notw written in French with blood covering it (I could not read it). I believe that it's a small lore dump from the devs for the game.
