Sweeet! I do HVAC also more residential service call work. I ordered a pair of the honey bison boots with honey vibram sole. I also use thorogoods and more recently a pair of 6" nicks moc toe wedge. The JK honey bisons might be too much boot for what I do but if so I will use them around the house or for other work 😂
I have a pair of Ot bison love the look of boots before I oiled them there comfortable out the box just once I oiled them they look wet and sticky changed the look but all and all there work boots . I have a bunch of boots these are my only rough out boots I would not go rough out again just do to everything sticks to them I live in Florida and there little things called hitchhikers in the grass and there a pain to get out . But the boot is very comfortable

@@HVACOGabsolutely love these man. I’ve worn wedge sole redwings for years so this is exactly what I’m wanting. Gonna give them a call and start the process today. I’m just a little nervous about the sizing. Did you order online or call them?
@@HVACOG Well it is a lot thicker, but it's no where to 3 times thicker. You can find a lot of videos on youtube with thorogoods, red wings and JK boots cut in half and he measures the thickness of the leather. Also the thickness of the leather is listed on the JK website. Bison leather appears thicker than traditional leather JK uses because of how the fibers are structured, which you can blatantly see in the roughout portion of your boots, they almost look hairy.
@@mad0uche absolutely. I love the hairy bison. I have the urban drifter in tan leather from nicks coming Monday. I’ll throw up a video of that one. A little more dressy/chill boot. I also have some black red wing iron rangers I bought recently. The hairy bison may be deceivingly more thick; it’s a nice feeling leather tho. 🙏cheers
@@HVACOG My JK forefronts have the roughout bottom / smooth top, but eventually the roughout became smooth so enjoy it while it lasts. It almost looks the same as the smooth minus the polished shine look.
Love this idea for service work. Its actually what you need.
Thanks for your video. I was wandering how the black sole would look like. Now I can see that the boots look great.
Thanks for stopping by
Awesome looking boots.
awesome video
😍 they look awesome. I need those. Haters gonna hate. I think they look great. That nap on rough out 🙌🏾
Looks good with the cap toe
Love to see a break in follow up video..
I love jk boots and those are the best looking crepe sole boots I’ve ever seen
Thank you!
Plz do a follow up review. I’m curious to see how the rough out holds up overtime

Thoroughgoods are good for service and install. They’re so comfortable and light. You ordered the OT? Which nicks do you have ?
Nice looking boots.
Did you get them? Must be the OT. How are they? Do a video !

I know what you mean, have to brush the boots a lot. Dust and everything gets stuck inside haha.
Nice looking boots.
I just orderd the same set of boots, I hope your still digging yours
Yes, I wear them a lot
Does the black sole last longer? I have thorogood boots and and the sole doesn’t last long
I doubt it bro. If you buy a good boot like nicks or JK, re-soling them is worth it.
its so furry lmao, not that im complaining.

I'm an Operating Engineer (boiler plant). How's the comfort on concrete all day?
This has arch support. With a leather insole, I think you will like it
Man, from 12 to a 10d. I don't even know what to order. Their sizes are way off from everyone elses. I wear 9.5d nicks.
Then you should be 9d
@@HVACOG thanks brother man!
@@RogerLoera you got it bro!
What was your wait time on these?
2-3 months

Boots LQQK like crap! Hope the boots wear better than they LQQK!😂😂😅
выглядят они просто ужасно.
Не у всех хорошей вкус 🇺🇦
It's just 6oz leather vs 8 oz leather, it's just slightly thicker.
Feels more. I have a pair of thorougoods. Idk🤷♂️
