  • Winter Melon Tea -is a sweetened fruit drink with a very distinctive taste. The process itself is very simple and inexpensive, making this folk beverage extremely popular in homes as well as on the streets.
    ▶ Ingredients :
    ● 1.5 kg Wax Gourd/ Winter Melon
    ● 4-5 leaves, Pandan Leaves (Optional)
    ● 7 liters, Water
    ● 500 g, Sugar
    Mothed :
    1. Cut the winter melon into large wheels (no need to peel)
    and rinse thoroughly.
    2. Grill the winter melon on low heat until brown,
    about 20 minutes.
    3. Add the water, pandan leaves, and sugar .stir it well and grilled winter melon
    4. Boil the winter melon on medium heat for 20 minutes.
    5. Strain the tea using butter muslin or a nut milk bag.

    Can I reuse the same cuts to make another batch of tea? I really want to get the most out of the one I got because they don’t sell these normally in markets near me and it was given to me. Thank you for this recipe by the way!!
