i got a question WTF is up with metasploit?? i had BT4 r2 updated metasploit then metasploit was gone framework 3 did not exist error so i got BT5 r1 everything is good updated did a apt-get update as usual then went to armitage didnt work so i tryd to update metasploit and it was gone WTF!!!
@stalingbg I think thata with this method, HTTrack provides a simple method to launch the website with a python webserver whereas wget -m won't provide that, also, the wizard is helpful.
i installed httrack using terminal, but i can't seem to access the program. it's there on the menu, twice(!) and it has no response when i click on it. nothing happens. any idea why ? any advice wuld be appreciated:) i'm running bt5r3 on VMplayer. if that helps. ps;don't tell me ta google it. i haven't found anything hence the reason i'm here lol. thanks

Then & now , yes. Before you know it Windows will be an emulation layer that runs on top of the linux kernel.. Httrack is written in python so if your not running it in WSL2 then you need to have python installed on the machine. This tool is super old so its written in python. I can't believe I am typing this but watch David Bombal's series on WSL2 and using Kali on a windows 10 machine. It will make learning easier not having to deal with cross platform compatibility ever. Look up 'kex' for the best experience with native linux applications.
You won't see the backend of the website because its back end u shouldnt be seeing it in any part of the source code 😂🤣😂🤣😂 If u do then thats your way in you don't even need to clone the website to phish for details cos php will literally tell you how to get in. 😂🤣😂

The not so smart children feel inferior so to feel better they pick on the superior children who end up owning them after High School anyways.
