Husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church. The church has always been referred to in this manner. Christ is even mentioned as the church's bridegroom in the Bible.
And what else does it say? Women are to submit to their husbands you forgot that part right it doesn’t say for equality right? It doesn’t say women are supposed to control men right don’t pick and choose Bible verses that benefit your narrative and don’t continue reading.

@@lionkj12 That the church has never been "masculine" lol. It is a house of God, it should have both masculine and feminine qualities in my opinion, but I just wanted to highlight some verses that refer to the church as feminine.
The church is not referred to as feminine because it is called the bride and Jesus as the bridegroom. The bible uses that language because we are in covenant with God. Not literal brides and married to him.

"I'll distract 'em with the hat...." Ha! End of the podcast and I'm still laughing at that throwaway line. Not even sure Chad heard it. 😅 Enjoyed every minute of this conversation. I'm going to send it to my 23 yo son. He's struggling so badly right now with how to be a Godly, manly, Christian young man in today's world. Even though he has many Godly older men in his life to look to, it's just not the same as knowing how to go about being a YOUNG man growing into that role. He is starving for this perspective.
I agree with you Chad when I hear about a woman being a Paster I cringe. I believe there’s things that can feel feminine ish! But there’s nothing like a good Man that obeys the laws of being a man unapologetically I love going to a church where there’s as many men as there is women.
And what church is that because all or at least most modern churches there filled with women and ran by them and that’s why modern western churches are a joke

Women have turned to be more masculine. Men need to be masculine so women can be feminine.
