Short story long, if people feel like you are toxic to them(which can be easy depending on their taste in friends/company)... They will decide you are not worth keeping around. I can be a little controlling, I have anxiety and depression, ans my boyfriend doesn't deserve what I put him through sometimes and probably deserves better. It hurts so badly to think that my mental issues and my emotions can be the reason I am hurting someone I claim to care about. I love him, but if the bad outweighs the good in his eyes, it's over and that sucks, but individually... You should want each other to be happy and healthy even if that means separating. It sucks, but eventually, if the you 2 will realize that something has to change. Will it be you eho changes and works on your issues to make him and you both happy and not in pain or will you decide that youre not ready/willing/wanting to change... If so, do you think you should just let him go if he does nothing wrong? No matter what, try to fix it. Always listen to each other about complaints and then WORK ON THE THINGS THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT. With all due respect, this was absolutely terrible advice that was just given. If he's coming home at 4:00am every morning, then there is a very serious problem with the relationship. Instead of jumping thru hoops and pulling out a bag of trick to lure him home, the two of them need to address the issues and find a way to repair the relationship. Meals, lingerie, cooking in the nude, and tricks are not going to keep a man or force him to come home any earlier if he truly doesn't want to be there.
