Thank you Professor Parker and Jacob and Maya!!! Excellent video! It's 2022 and I got it to work with 2021b Matlab and 2021 SOLIDWORKS. It doesn't appear that comments are being replied to here by MTU. I see that Mohammed Aliff asked about the followup video. I don't think they exist atleast not as intended. There are (3) additional videos about Simscape from Professor Gordon that are helpful. They are videos about Simscape and not about Solidworks to Simscape from what I can tell.

There are many more complicated prototypes on that site.
This could help you with your question. In my case, driving the final dynamic equation is so painful so I try to use maxima for automatic driving and it is fantastic.

However, I am having problem in simulating the CAD assembly in Simscape, I can't see my solid body in the simulation window though I can see the CoM icons and references. Your videos are very good and self explanatory. I am facing a problem with solidworks to simulink imported model. The Simmechanics Imported model is continuously moving without any given actuation. What will be the possible solution, so that it cannot move without given actuation.

you probably either haven't downloaded the model or have saved it in some other folder.

download correct model and if needed use .zip at the end of the file name!
