    Disappointed I missed this seminar this past year. In my 30 years in Villari's Shaolin Kempo Karate, I can tell you unequivocally that Great Grand Master Villari is the real deal.

    I did Villari's Shoalin Kempo Karate in my youth. I do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai Boxing, and MMA now. More effective.

    I attended Grandmaster Villari’s school in Leominster, MA as a boy, and then studied under his pupil, Grandmaster Kevin Bliss. I have always respected Grandmaster Villari’s teaching, and his principles have helped form a foundation of mental and physical strength as I go through life. Thank you so much for posting.

      @@zeeboo56 in the 1980s, Rick Harvey and Jill Cote, in Albany NY. They were originally from Somerville Massachusetts. Later I tested for my black belt under Master Dave Leggeri.
      Later on I became a student full-time under senior grandmaster George Pesare, Who was the teacher of Professor Nick Cerio.

    i learned from Bob ' I think Hutchins was his last name in Leominster back in the 79-82 period. loved the system! I had come from, goju, jido kwan, and others. This system shaped my continued study of other arts. went on to shito ryu, tae kwon do ( which I personally do not appreciate), tang soo do, american kenpo, as well as a smattering of many other systems. never could find another Villari studio in my travels, wished I had.

    Why would someone practice this style of martial arts?

    • @zeeboo56
      @zeeboo56  3 года назад +5

      It depends on the individual but the physical and mental benefits are endless. Confidence, self-discipline, fitness, balance, coordination and self defense as you learn to strike, kick, take down and grapple. It’s a great system to develop the fundamentals of Martial Arts ability and skill.
