You catching the Hellevator melody is awesome!
@florastar pointed it out -- the beat at 3:05 is similar to the beat in 0325 (from minute & five into the song)
i think skz 0325 instruments is in here at 3:05 its also the debut date of skz
So many things from the past in this.
-The posters on the walls of their fanmeets & tours.
-I.N touching the mirror like in Mirror.
-The Hellevator elevator.
-The plaza from Miroh.
-The compass (or a form of it) from many older mvs. (Mixtape #4, Double Knot, Side Effects, Levanter, to name a few)
-Hyunjin taking photos like Seungmin was in Side Effects & All In.
-Changbin standing in smoke & light (alone) like Han in Lonely St.
-The top of the elevator from Hellevator, but instead of the lavender fields they run through the bare concrete of District 9.
-Picking up the key from Double Knot, but turning it in the elevator panel like in the Yellow Wood trailer in the Hellevator instead.
-Them in a theater like in SKZFLIX.
-The blue blindfold & blue wings from Blueprint. (Possibly alluding to Spread My Wings/Young Wings as well)

-Felix & Hyunjin's hair close to what it was in Thunderous & Seungmin having the short hair of Hellevator.

There is so much in this, it's hard.......I'm not ready.

4:34 the line is from bang chan's ment for one of their last concerts on the maniac tour. the fansigns said something like "stays will be there until the last step out" and he said "there's never gonna be a last step out" i can't wait to hear 3racha's process on how they created the song 😭
It was in response to Atlanta’s banner which said “until the last step out, or beyond”
Someone made a comment on one of the many teasers that have been coming out recently, that ATE could be an acronym for All The Eras. While I thought it sounded plausible, this really really seems to substantiate it!
I think "ATE" is yet another example of their fondness for multiple meanings in their music.
ATE could be an acronym, it could be a clever wordplay on the number 8 (which appears multiple times in their "ATE" album teaser), it could be referring to the Greek Goddess ATE, who was a goddess of chaos and instigator of the impulsive, reckless follies of mankind.
Or it could be all of those and more. It wouldn't surprise me in the least.
i saw a stay on twitter mention that the beat and tempo is very similar to the prechorus and chorus of their song "0325"

From visual references alone:
-For some reason, Felix's opening the song reminds me of '해장국 Hero's Soup' from "I am You".
-As he enters the hallway the other's join him, remenicent of the opening scenes in 'Double Knot'.
- Not fully certain but the blue flash showing the door at the rear of seating could be referring to "Chronosaurus' or 'District 9'
-IN's hand placed on the mirror from the song "Mirror".
-The hand holding the compass might refer to '고장난 나침반 Broken Compass',
-Han looking at Felix while laying on the floor with the hint of blue ' "청사진" Blueprint'
-chuckled a little when they showed MinSung and HyunLix watching in a theater setting as the scene of a defiant SKZ from 'Miroh' appears. (Their first music show win.)
-The eight of them in a surrounded by buildings (I'm still working on that one, they sure know how to put Stay's minds to work, haha)
-Changbin alone might refer to 'Streetlight' with hints of. ..... the blue smoke from 'District 9' again?
-Seungmin, Felix, IN ... and I think that's Han or it could be LeeKnow.... again, still working on that. But it feels a little like 'Astronaut"
I'm going to insert something that I'd noticed in other comments elsewhere that why would they include references to songs when they were 9 members instead of sticking to the 8 member songs, well, it was part of their journey so why not face it.
-in fact the look on BangChan's face reminds me of '인정하기 싫어' ( I hate to admit) but it reminds me of the rough times they had during that period of time.
-ChangBin and LeeKnow in the bus, hints of 'Grow Up(잘 하고 있어)' and 'District 9'
-Felix with eyes closed laying on the ground 'BluePrint' again
-BangChan in the 'Hellavator' determined to continue their upward climb also in recognition of the hellish work he and the others went through to get to this point as well as the song 'Social Path' (a bit of their word play as Chani prounces it Sociopath.
-also BangChan going up stairs, then on the stage might be a little hint at 'You can Stay'
-His being in the elevator as the doors close might be a reference to 'Top'
-Members of SKZ on the bus , '"Mixed Tape #1" Placebo ' ????
.Hyunjin with the camera - '바보라도 알아(Mixtape : On Track)' and '애(Mixtape : OH)' Both songs had deep meanings but OH, hit home hard since it was his return from 6 month long hiatus.
- The members running from the doorway of an elevator which placed them in present day while a glimpse of 'District 9' flashes into the scene.
From then on... haven't had the time to try for more other then about crying when the ' Nachimbong'' l(it's unoffical name gifted by LeeKnow) ight stick flashed into view.
There are so many flashes at the end, "Levanter' (the version performed at Gaon in 2020) where they danced blindfolded in the middle of the song.
!!!!!!! Okay, my brain is officially mush!!!!!!! I know there's something about so many different songs they've created on their way to the world stage, but right now it's pure emotions blocking my ability to find more.
BangChan and the others must be giggling up a storm watching Stay try to figure out what goes where and with whom.
