Tideflex Aeration Mixing Systems combine the backflow protection of Tideflex Check Valve Diffuser nozzles with robust stainless-steel piping components to create a system that is long-lasting and virtually maintenance free.
Conventional open-pore systems provide no backflow protection. If blowers are shut down, process fluid can intrude into the upstream piping system requiring costly cleanout operations.
When blowers are shut off in a Tideflex Aeration Mixing System, pressure differential automatically closes the Tideflex valves which prevents backflow. This allows for ON/OFF blower operations for nutrient removal, decanting processes, biological selectors, and general power savings.
The Tideflex Check Valve discharges air at a near-floor elevation. This keeps particles suspended in the fluid and prevents the buildup of sludge on the bottom of the tank.
Tideflex Aeration Mixing Systems are highly engineered products designed by environmental and process engineers on staff.
