- Many of you asked for paper tearing on the beach, so here you go! I recorded this right after a storm had passed, and so the background has plenty of fast-moving clouds that make for a texture rich sunset.
Most of what I was tearing was index cards because they don't flop around in the wind, and so have no extra noise associated with them. I did try some thick drawing paper in the middle of the session, but I decided to go back to the index cards soon after.
The soft ramble kicks in more towards the end of the video, where I talk about things like the process and conditions for recording on the beach and a side story about what these index cards were originally purchased for, which was a time management system that I still use parts of today (but on my phone).
This one took a good bit of editing because of all of the aircraft flying around, but I'm pleased to be able to release it finally. Hope you enjoy!
Stay chill, y'all. :-)
Nice to hear from you again! Excellent video!
Thank you, Valerie! I’m doing my best! ❤️
Thank you for this video! It was exactly what I needed after the challenging day I've had. It gave me my first sense of calm all day. You do such a wonderful job with all of the components here.
I’m thrilled that the video helped bring you back down! That’s awesome, and I’m thankful it could help you. Thank you for the compliments as well. You’re very kind. ❤️
I only visited florida once and every time I left my home state (Texas) I only went to Kansas to visit my grandma so by that point I’ve only been to 3 states because I had to go through Oklahoma but whenever I went to the beach it was the best time of my life. My friend that is very rich and fortunate decided to bring me because his brother didn’t wanna go. Whenever he brought me I was so happy almost to the point of crying we went and whenever we did that was the best. I had 100 for souvenirs and stuff so I got a lifeguard white hoodie and he got a red lifeguard hoodie. So we went to get fried pickles and a burger then ice cream near a board walk. The ocean was fun and it was my first time going to a ocean so me and him shared one tube floatie and whenever the small waves came we rode them and they’d push us over and we ran around The hotel and everything in general. But I wish I got more stuff because I lost everything except the hoodie which is hung in my room as a reminder. And a couple months later he moved. he’s all the way in cali now. all I see on his Snapchat stories are the life of luxury and wealth... I just want to see him again and have fun at school and just hang out. i don’t think I can see him again. gaige, if you see this just talk to me and hopefully we can see each other again.. I miss you bro please come back I wish having fun the times we spent and the little time we had. Thanks for the memories man I appreciate it to the max and think about it everyday.
I almost cry looking at the video and just hearing the waves and noises in the back I wanna run in the sand and chase each other playing tag. But we can’t. i miss him
Looked for his Instagram?

The paper tearing with those absolutely stunning waves in the background is amazing ❤👌🏼
And so is that sunset :O
Thanks, Eren! It was a good to day to shoot. Glad it’s working for you! 🙌
Congrats on the 1k subs! Hope to see you back soon.
Oh wow! I never thought I’d enjoy paper tearing; I would assume it would sound too harsh, but with the way you’ve done it, it sounds very gentle and thus, relaxing! Haha. I don’t comment tooooo too often but your videos never fail to amaze me! Thank you again for all your wonderful ideas and content!
Hi there, Genesis! Yes, I tried hard to make sure it wasn’t harsh. That was what their earlier indoor paper tearing video was for... kind of like a baseline of different paper types. Thank you for your kind words again! ❤️
Love the video, and your channel. If you do plan on doing further paper tearing videos, and I hope you do. I very much do suggest for you to choose different types of 'paper' like tissue paper, baking paper, card board, and so on, as well as scrunching up some of the paper. Making it that bit more to get those new viewers hooked your channels like me, but right now it's still an amazing video, so thank you for taking your time to make it.
Hey there! Actually, my previous video was an indoor test of different paper types. The reason I stuck with the index cards and the drawing paper for the beach was their thickness and ability not to flop around against the microphone too much in the wind on the beach. In the beach video, you'll see even the drawing paper had trouble with this, so I stuck with the index cards. However, there are plenty of paper types in the last video: ruclips.net/video/SoQCNdRjBkE/видео.html - hope you enjoy it, and thanks for commenting! :-)
