I really like that Jasmine flap bag. That’s really a different style for fossil. I like what Fossil is trying to do with the eco leather, but I think it just causes confusion. I’ve seen so many people thinking it means vegan leather.
Totally agree. But I also think that it's not Fossil's fault! I really hate when companies call pleather or poly "vegan leather," because it creates so much confusion.
@@MeticulousShopper I really don't like 'vegan leather' as a bag material either and won't buy bags made of it, but then again I buy most of my items preloved anyway as I feel that's the best way to help the environment in general. Vegan leather to me is just plastic made to look like leather.
Love how Fossil package their bags. The Caramel crossbody is beautiful. Wow that turnlock is different. Idk if I would like my bag to smell “chemically” maybe it will go away overtime… I like the eco leather idea. Both are such a great deal. TFS. 🧡
I find your Fossil unboxings and reviews really informative as I don't know much about the Fossil line. I feel like they're hit or miss with their bags; sometimes they seem really nice and classy, and sometimes the leather just looks really cheap to me. That Jasmine Flap in particular looks like it's fake leather (plus the smell you describe is suspect!) but I wouldn't know until I laid hands on it whether or not it feels like real leather. I have what I think is a vintage Fossil I found at a thrift store that appears to be calf leather; it's unlined so that's my main clue, but that's my only Fossil item. Thanks for the review!
