The Traynor Wine Red sounds amazing (YCV40WR). Different speaker. That one has a Vintage 30. I have an AC15C1 and Blues Junior IV modified with Fromel mods and a Neo Lil Texas.
yes compare three different amps with three different players on three different guitars. makes no sense. not to mention different styles. If going to compare use the same guitar on all.
Not to mention they probably all went through different pedals, which make matters worse. The only common thing I see (and hear) in this video is 3 pairs of black trousers.
Not to mention, a minimum of 3 different pickup positions on each guitar. This is a pointless video. If someone like Jeff Beck played through all three amps with the same guitar, they would all sound good in their own right.
Thought the style was cool especially all at same time. Fender sounded boxy - bad cab? Traynor cuts like a knife - definitely loud enough for practice - needs a warmer speaker though. Vox is perfect recording amp but too weak for practice/live unless mic'd - sounded beautiful though. Cool vid.
With a speaker swap and learning to dial the traynor I think it's a more versatile amp, I have it and the vox. They both have some really good tones in them.
@@dustinscott5628 if you had the option to buy only one or the other, which one would you chose? Most of my guitars have humbuckers, but I do have single coils as well. (Strat)
I’ve only discovered VOX amplifiers in the last year, having always been a Fender/Traynor guy. Now, every other amplifier sounds dull and lifeless compared to my AC10 or AC15.
When I see videos made by British people, the VOX always comes out way on top. When they're made by American people, they tend to prefer the Fender. Seems odd. I think theirs a conspiracy. I played through both these amps a couple of hours ago. The VOX is way fuzzier than presented here. The Fender isn't nearly as thin and boxy sounding. The Fender receives pedals a bit better and has a little more bite, although the VOX is definitely louder and has slightly more depth. They are actually fairly similar, not like the shit show smack down presented here.
Should have had the YCV20WR from Traynor instead of YCV40. Why would you compare a 40 watt amp to 15 watt amps? at 15 watts and a Greenback speaker, the smaller Traynor would kicked those other two !
I love Balfour agreement. Brought some sanity to the Middle East. After all, let's face it, Israel is in the Middle East like a diamond in a pool of mud.

Modded to boot. At least they told us it all went into Pro Tools 11! :/ . Guitar wanking at its finest.

The AC15 smokes the other two imo - the Blues Junior sounds especially boxy or tinny.
Love that the dude with the Traynor was playing some Brand New!
As much as I wanted the Traynor to sound the best... The ac15 definitely kicks everything else's ass in this video.

@@dustinscott5628 speaker swap makes a big difference. I've tried a few different speakers in the ycv40 and they all sound better than the Seventy80.

Witch hurts cause the old Traynors (64/71) are the best amp's made according to my experience! Vox 🏆's on this treble race 🏁

It's all set up wrong. If U crank the Trainor it blows them out of the water.u have to no how to use them
Better if you demonstrate the same guitar, same player , same riff on the three different amps to get the understanding.
Does this amp have footswitch to change channels
Good to see someone who knows that the trick with Traynors is to ignore the "overdrive/boost" channel and just drive the clean channel.
I have a ycv 40 and put in 6550 power tubes and the drive channel is actually useable. I still mainly just drive clean though.
How to make a great amp sound bad.
That ASAT Special is a sweet guitar
Love my 1990s G&L ASAT, you can see it in my thumbnail pic here.
It's like comparing apple juice to grape juice, it all comes down to preference
Little black boxes for you and me. First jam was jammin, should have kept that up for a round.

don't give up your day jobs boys !
I spoke too soon!
All these guys commenting below pissed off because they don’t play the usual shitty Hendrixian blues licks 😂
my blues jr sounds way better than that one. it sounds better than any of those amps. must be a blues jr 3
children learning
Noice!!!!!!!!
The three stooges of music.
My Traynor is a beast super bright cleans, even with humbuckers and some great dirty too. Sorry not a great video. Try again lads.
Yes, my Traynor YCV40 sounds really good too. Don't think they did it justice in this video.
Nealix D. Is it too loud for bedroom playing?
Alexis Ortega it doesnt do low volume too well. Theres no master and the clean is loud on 1.
Butcherd incubus._. I feel like all you guys would be happier with acoustics
what the fuck is this
Go learn how to play. The Trainor heats the fender Junor and vox out of the water
U need real players
You lost me w the Palestine terroristic flag

Obviously vox was better out of 3 shitty amp's! To top it (telys) 🤔
Terrible
