I hope Japanese pop groups take over in the global scene soon. I really love XG, and Number_i really caught my attention when they debuted last January. I discovered this group just 2 days ago, and their songs Just Like Dat and Temperature have been on repeat since. I am just discovering these groups and I am really enjoying their music so far.
Jpop pretty much blew up last year when Yoasobi's song Idol gained international attention and entered the global charts. So the genre is currently on momentum. I hope the labels in Japan will take advantage of it.
