desaturating the colours to mimic the splash art colour scheme would improve this skin so much I’m surprised they didn’t just do that
I assume they get pushback on things being too desaturated because clarity is important, but then again they do allow for some pretty dark chromas that don't visually pop so who knows...

Love the editing with the bloodborne music to set that creepy Victorian vibe before transitioning to that comedic whistle lol. Very reflective of the skin.
How the hell do you mess up turning Fiddlesticks into Jack the Ripper? One of his other names is Leather Apron, so just dress Fiddlesticks up in bloodstained Victorian England clothing with an apron made of stitched together leather. Boom, job done
Fiddlesticks might not figure out if it wants to be funny or scary, but the music made me laugh like a maniac

I honestly think that union jack would've been better as either an actual shirt or as a marking on his back.

It’s been a while since we had a tone whiplash for “worst skins.” I completely forgot about this one since the art looks like a “Fiddlesticks The Ripper.” And the actual skin we got looks like one of those “Be the British people from _____ see you as,” jokes. Definitely one we can chalk down as a “deceptive sell.”

Thats what makes the skin scary, it’s not just a scarecrow cryptid, it’s AN ENGLISH SCARECROW AAAAAAAAA (the splash art is one of the best in the game, the model in game does let it down for sure though.)
I liked the old one that looked like a crazy punk monster guy. Union Jack looked appropriate on him.
They should've given him some ashy grey color with red scheme instead. Make it look like it came from a place that was burnt down, or full of ash, fire and gunpowder. I don't know what the theme really is about, but if it looks like it's from a warzone, it would probably look awesome.
If they just wouldve made his entire face/clothes like a sickly ghost white like in the splash art, it would look a little better. But I think that british bib is beyond saving

Looking at the splash art i always thought it was like a whole new sculpt but like REALLY LOOKING at it now i see that is is literally fiddle in a fake mustache, monocle and hat
I always saw the splashart as a reference to Jack the ripper, so i personally like it. But ingame yeah, it looks funny.
I personally think the british flag necktie is a reference to the old version of the skin, when it was just fiddle with a British flag on it. Also, it's design make me think of jack the reaper. Maybe because of nostalgia but i really love this fiddle skin.

Okay wow I’m glad I saw this. This skin was one of those I really like whenever I see it, and contemplate buying but ultimately never do. But that was because I’ve never seen it in-game… what the hell were they thinking? It looks so incredible in the splash art

Now talk about how the Fiddle Me Timbers skin sadly lacks some detail with the octopuss that's supposed to be controlling Fiddlesticks is kind of just there. Not even moving at all.

The splash art is kinda awesome, it's like jack the ripper meets eldritch horror, if only that translated into the actual skin at all. They should have the guy who makes the splash art be the consultant in on the actual skins.

Despite being a recent update, it appears Riot's iconic splash art deception is still present.
Obviously, it's not as bad here as some more infamous cases. This is more of the splash art being so incredibly good & the model not being able to capture that tone.
As a British person I can confirm this is what's scary to us
I think turning the bib into a patch, adding tears to the jacket and either a glow to his ribcage, or have something peeking out complete with fingers sticking between the bones might make this better. Really lean into the horror aspects of Fiddle and give him some rather dark upgrades to turn this into a real nightmare skin.
