We had played this song at my Dad’s funeral. His death was an accidental fall. He never wanted to let us down or let his life slip away. January 2 years ago I lost my friend and I ended up in a homeless shelter because of the trauma of finding him after he hanged himself. This song popped up as the song that described my situation. God showed this to me and it helped me. I believe God will resurrect my friend because I asked for it in Jesus mighty name. Thank the Lord for giving me this song and the miracle.

Hi I hadn't heard of Josh either till March.. Purely by chance I watched him sing.... The Prayer with Celine Dion.. It was the first time they'd sang it together... Josh has kept me going right through Covid19... With the Showersongs and The Movie Nights... Have helped right through lockdown... Will be forever grateful... Now can't stop listening to him... This is a live performance, no cleaning things up in a studio. Josh is one of those rare artists who sound as good or better live than on a recording. Amazed at his poise and concentration, playing piano and delivering a pitch perfect performance.
I was listening to this (not watching) and only at violin solo I noteiced it was live.

I always like the live performance better as there is so much more power and soul of this wonderful musician audible and feelable ( is that a correct expression? Sorry, not a native speaker.)

Although lyrics have actual meanings, usually, and the lyricist had something in mind for "February Song", I HAVE to write this down, right here and now. My most precious daughter died in February. An hour and a half earlier and it would've still been Groundhog's Day. Weird, but I have a personal reason for that. But, she never wanted to let me down. Or anyone down. But she HAD to "slip away." She fought bravely through brain tumors and after beating them, 3 times, got cancer, stage 4 in more places almost imaginable and so many they were unable to count them. My dear girl fought back and after a year of treatment for that, lived a full life for 4 more years. Then, we followed an ambulance to the same hospital, 3 1/2 hours from our home where we had been going for 19 years with her and she was gone in 5 days. She kept doing her art, photography, writing, laughing, loving and being in the moment, which her fur babies helped with. She had friends in different positive forums from all over the world that had known her for 10-20 years. They told me, grown women and men I didn't know, fine people, that a light had gone out in the world when she left us. She is missing from me. I helped her slip away- I never left her side in the hospital either-I went places no other's were allowed to go because- she needed me to- to help translate as the surgeries had taken away a lot of her hearing-but so did a jerk doctor just before she turned 3. Another story. She never complained, just became more of herself-and she knew herself, too. So I think of her when I hear this and Josh Groban can reach me and others so well with his beautiful voice, the emotion he puts out in the singing and songs he chooses. Josh Groban has the most lyrical and pure voice I have ever heard in all of my 80 years. He sings like an angel and puts so much meaning into his songs - every one of them. He is the very best singer I have ever heard in my life!!

I think my nurses the last two weeks in the hospital got sick of you Josh, was fighting three separate bugs in my central line and in isolation. Feeling kind of lonely and your music always gives me strength. They told me I would die and I said, "not yet", only 27, not really ready for that trip yet haven't even got to see you live yet! Hoping to see you when you are in MO if I get permission and they don't already have me listed for a stupid new intestine. You are inspiring.

Saw Josh Groban 3 times already. Never get tired of seeing him sing. My wife and I had a meet and Greet with him once and he took pictures with us.
He is very, very talented. Singing live, without rehearsal but absolutely superb. I don't think there are many artists who can just sit down and sing such a beautiful song and play the piano ,just like he does

This song reminds me so much of much loved actor Robin Williams.....he hid so much sorrow from everyone with his humor....and...in so many ways....someone else I know.
I do not know if i have commented or not about this song. I am a 66 year old metal head. I usually gravitate towards intense rock with lyrics that say something to me. Not girl songs, not songs searching for a hit, not songs that have no soul. But i have always been a Josh Groban fan. He has a voice of no equal and to boot he is a genuinely good man, funny, smart and socially aware. I recorded this version years ago. And as some have commented, you can't hide in a live show. Brilliant!! Just Brilliant!!💖

Josh Groban was my mom's favorite musical artist. In the last four years of her life I would take her for long rides in the car to get her out of the house. We would listen to this song and others. She died on January 8th and these songs will all hold an enduring meaning to me.
