Nothing wrong with banning people who cause issues, if that's available to you as a channel owner. Your videos have been so wonderful to find and enjoy. Your art is lovely and different than a lot of other artists which is what art is about! Your color choices are an expression of you. It's been a revelation for me as an artist that there are other color choices that make beautiful art that's unique. I've already ordered some supplies that are more subtle and can't wait to start drawing and painting. Thank you!
Thanks for such a lovely comment! 🧡 I'm so pleased that you've invested in some new supplies and I hope that you have fun experimenting with your new colours!
I recently discovered your channel and love it. Don't listen to those people! Art has no rules. I am enjoying watching you use new supplies which is so inspiring.
Most of the time, trolls are not even artists! A real artist would give advice, tips. A troll just give free hate. I hope you won’t have to deal with too many of them. I love this painting and this palette is perfect to learn about values. Thanks for sharing this video 💕
Yeah trolls are very sad individuals. They may also be jealous. Poor troll - we pity them. “Look under the bridges, that’s where they hide”...pity poor troll 🤣
Sad to hear someone would write something so negatively about an art haul... I for one, enjoyed them, I loved the colors you chose. I would have never seen those colors as interesting to me. But I guess that's why I find you so unique! It made me reconsider my colors... and I see the colors I don't use differently because of you. I love your work, and you make me want to use mix media! I would like to add, stepping away is probably a healthier choice, mentally. So keep it up!! I can't wait to see what you create next!
People are a bit strange sometimes, aren't they? I think that a certain type of person finds negativity in anything and everything! Thank you for your lovely comment, and I know what you mean about watching other artists and then reconsidering your own colour palette - I'm using colours now that I would never have used a few months ago (more pinks, iridescent colours etc.) thanks to other art RUclipsrs! 🧡
Negative comments are not about you Natasha, it’s about them not knowing where to put their negative energy. I know this is really hard to begin with but just take a breath, close your eyes and imagine those people sad and alone typing this spiteful nonsense. I always imagined them sitting on the loo and that made me laugh so hard 🤣 (I used to have a channel). This will help you to snap out of it and not let it affect you that much. 🥰 Sending 💖 PS: Rabbit Hole Alert: the Kremer Metallic Watercolours are D.I.V.I.N.E !!!
Ha ha, I love the thought of them typing their spiteful comments while sitting on the loo - that's probably where they ARE doing it! And oh yes, I've heard good things about the Kremer metallic watercolours from other viewers too and I've checked them out - they look absolutely gorgeous! 💗💗💗
Thank you for your video. I'm little art RUclipsr myself and I live in a country which have a very narrow view of art so I totally understand. Just hang in there, I see art as a universe, with various styles, concepts, forms and types, we dont all art the same or do the same kind of art. That's the beauty of art.
Natasha, your beautiful work inspired me to desaturate my palette and I’ve produced some very different work I really like. Thank you for all you do and baubles to the trolls 🙂
You have something, that a lot of other people who are getting into art are still searching for and that is a personal style that is recognizable. This style isn't just determined by the way you draw things, the subject or your line work but also by you colorpalette. This is special and others are searching for something like this for ages. So don't let those comments get under your skin and keep up with what you are doing. You said it yourself there is a lovely community out there who like your art, videos and chatting with you me included. As I am into fotorealistic work I hear all the time that fotorealism isn't art either. As I mentioned before I am a teacher at a primary school and when I went to study not just math and german but also art as a subject I heard so many nasty things about my art especially at university. It is horrible how we still live in a society where a ton of people try to put others down. I really like your result of the moon painting. :)
I agree with what you've said here! There are so many people with so many opinions of what is right, what is wrong, what is art, what's not...it gets so tiring to hear. It's negative, unnecessarily restrictive, and sucks the joy out of art. Thank for sharing your thoughts, as always. 💗
Hi Natasha! Thanks for keeping me company on Saturday morning :) I love your art, but also, I love your attitude and approach to things. I put your videos on when I need some nourishment for the soul. Keep on doing what you're doing. You're doing it great! :)
Also, don’t assume they’re all “people,” with so much auto-generating software out there. Giving them “personalities” gives them more power to hurt. You’re doing great work. I’m a recent subscriber and am so impressed with your talent - and stash lol. I was drooling for this review after seeing the haul video. Found out after the fact that before I was really into watercolor I had worked just down the street from Kremer’s NYC store! Mixed blessing, that, I think. Keep up the good work, and most of all enjoy what you’re doing. 🙂🌺🎨👩🎨
Thank you for all your videos. I find them really inspiring and i love listening to you talk about supplies and colors. I too am drawn mostly to earth and subdued còlors. I love your art.
Thank you for sharing this palette, when I saw this palette in your original haul I was intrigued but really couldn't think how it would fit in with your other paints. It was really interesting to see how you used it.
I really appreciate that you work with a more specific pallet of colours. It's helped me reconsider why I think I need to own the full rainbow in a brand when I tend to only use a few colours. Thank you for that :)
I love your channel and it's been really exciting to see you explore with new products. This moon painting is amazing, it's unlike anything I've seen before, very inspiring. I'm looking forward to what you do in the future with these art supplies (when and if you're ready to share). Thanks for showing us your process and talent!! Trolls want to disrupt and create doubt and fear, they're very sad people and unfortunately they are everywhere on social media. So please ignore them, don't read it, it's not about you, it's always about their own issues and fears.
you are a lovely person and listening to you and looking at your artwork is an inspiration. your style is so original and unique. of course you will attract small minded and jealous people.
Just found your channel and subbed. I adore Kremer paints, so this subject matter caught my eye when it popped up in my feed. Looking forward to seeing more of your art. Remember, no one does Art like you, we are all unique!
Good for you! It is YOUR channel. Your art is very lovely, and you can use whatever palette you want! The fact that you take the time to post all your videos for all to see is extremely kind of you. I don't think I could do it, so I am glad you do. 😁
I love your moon paintings, and this looks like the perfect palette for them! I particularly liked the closeups at the end as we can really see the different layers shining through. Thank you for posting another of your excellent movies! xxx
Natasha I haven't commented on any of your videos because I primarily watch on my TV however, I wanted to let you know how much you've inspired me and I'm sure so many other artists out there. I'm biased when it comes to your color palette because I'm drawn to similar colors as you. I love neutrals with a pop of color and especially grays and blues (Paynes gray and indigo are my two favorite). I know you're getting more into watercolors and wanted to suggest Qors indigo if you don't already have it. It's a stunning dark blue and I think you'd love it! Thank you for providing such inspiring content!! I have finally purchased acrylic gouche thanks to your channel. And please continue your art hauls 🥰 There will always be trolls and negative people (especially these days) but I think it's safe to say, they are the minority. Bless you and your channel and I pray you continue to grow and prosper.
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. I very much appreciate them! 💗 I've added the Qor Indigo to my favourites list on Jackson's thanks to your recommendation, so thank you! I'm so pleased that you've purchased some acrylic gouache and I hope you're enjoying using it! It's such a great paint for layering. :)
I found your channel through the art haul video and I love it. Sorry you have had some negative comments. The online world baffles me at times. Your work is beautiful.
Hellooo from across the pond, I was one of the folks introduced to you by your art haul video. Your unique style, and the calm pace at wich you speak along with your uncanny ability to put colors together in ways I haven't thought of all spark the creative flame for me. Thank you for putting yourself out into the world of you tube you inspire me to paint when it has been difficult to get myself unblocked.
Thank you so much for such kind words - I really appreciate what you've written, Michelle! 💗 And I hope that you continue to be inspired and the dreaded creative block goes away for good!
I just wanted to say I really enjoy your channel! I love your relaxed chatty style and find this channel so inspiring, informative and positive and its been a breath of fresh air during this lingering lockdown. I think your palette and style are beautiful and a delightful expression of you! Who cares what the narrow minded think, it just highlights their ignorance. Keep doing what you are doing when you feel like doing it, it is loved and appreciated, thank you xx
So much love and appreciation for you, your art and your lovely spirit., your walks, your fears, enthusiasm. Thank you so much for sharing, it takes courage and you have both talent and the courage to share it.
I enjoyed watching this video and paint swatching. I like the dark and gray paints. I recently purchased a set of shadow colors, a Japanese paint: reddish black, yellowish black, greenish black, blueish black, purple shirt black and brownish black. They are amazing. I’ve ordered more, with different numbers, hoping they will be different colors. I always love your beautiful artwork. 🤗~Fran
That’s a beautiful painting! I recently ordered a grey colour pencil set (intuitive purchase 😁) and was wondering what to use it for - a moon drawing on black paper would be perfect! 🌚 Sorry to hear you had to deal with this negativity, especially as your channel is one of the most positive ones I‘m following right now, and so inspiring. Please don’t let it get to you, there are sad people out there and it‘s no use trying to find reason behind their comments. You have to follow your own path and take on board your own advice to move on.
So sorry to hear you had negative comments on the haul videos,I loved them so interesting to hear you talk about your choices and the colours and to hear how you planned to use them in the future, but at the end of the day it's only one person's opinion, and others like me love your videos and are really inspired by them. This Kremer palette is really unique and it's perfect fo you. So glad you deciced to paint an image of the moon,it really works on the black paper, those kremer paints were the perfect choice to create this lovely painting,I like some of the colour names too. I hope this inspires you to try painting the moon on canvas again.Your videos are really insightful and informative, and its so nice to learn about how you create your amazing work and what inspires you.I always feel when you paint on camera as you do here we as viewers are on that little journey with you.I hope this little unique palette inspires further watercolour paintings. and thank you for the inspiration your videos always give me and others too.I know through listening to you, I have tried some new paints myself and they have really given me new ideas and ways of working. You have a very human and down to earth way of talking to us in your videos, and it feels like you are letting us have a little peek behind the scenes so to speak,it's like listening to a good friend talk about their art .Look forward to more videos and to seeing what art you create next. take care and be inspired. P.s I have just bought a set of the Pro art prolene brushes, and they are a really nice brush especially for gouache and I can see them becoming a staple for me in the future.I am really glad I discovered you channel here on youtube and I have talked to others in the comments too, who have been lovely. You have created a great little community here on your channel, and I think it will continue to grow as more people discover you and are inspired by your fantatastic videos. You so deserve the success you have with your channel, you really do becuse it's helping and inspiring so many other people and that can only be a wonderfully good thing.
I appreciate this comment so much, Matt. Thank you. 💗 And I'm thrilled that you've tried (and love) the Pro Arte Prolene brushes! I've used these for years - they last for ages if looked after well. Keep painting and keep experimenting, my friend!
I admire your courage to share your artwork and your processes. It is a courage I don't yet have myself. Thank you for simply being unashamed and purely you.
Thank you for another lovely video. Ignore the negative people, your videos are so inspiring and relaxing. I love all colours but you inspire me to try a more limited palette
What a beautiful picture. Thank you for switching and sharing information on this set of paints. So sorry about the negative comments. Social media, unfortunately, has brought a lot of closet bullies out of their dark holes.
What a wonderful moon! I was tempted by Kremer's Blue Set when they released it but I just couldn't justify it for many reasons. I know their paints are top notch and I am glad you are happy with the set! 🤩🥰 I am so sorry you had to encounter those trolls. But please don't let them get to you as that is what their aim is. It might help to look at their channel to see what they produce which is usually nothing at all. And - as far as I have learnt from live streams on other channels, it may be the same troll trolling on different profiles. Things like that should be reported and then it's up to RUclips to deal with... hopefully! Take your time to recover. I look forward to your next video when you're ready. 🤩🥰😘🤗
Thank you so much for your kind words, Chrissie! 🤗🧡 The Kremer paints are gorgeous and I know the blue set you're talking about. I can't justify it at the moment either! But it's beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful Natasha. This palette is so you! I love your moon paintings and hadn't realised the number of layers and details involved. Keep doing what you're doing. Stay positive x
Thanks so much, Lesley! 🧡 I want to attempt the moon again as I'd like to leave more of the dark side next time (I think I made this one too white!). But the paints are gorgeous to work with and perfect for something like this! x
😍 the moon has Van Gogh feel to it when you done the close up. This palette looks so pretty, i dont use white paint (i fact i belive i own a single pan or tube) as much as i would love toget one it would be a waist in collection 😞 So I'm looking a building a 12 pan of black/blue/greys. Its just so hard to pick them... By the way I love your colour palettes. There was 3 colours from your haul that i will be ordring latter to try, rose dore was one i cant rember the other 2 i'm lookforward to seeing if i like working with colours other them blues, grys and purples.😊 Xx
For so long my main palette was blues, greys and browns - I rarely used other colours (but would do so sometimes)! So it's been great to experiment and rediscover a love for colour recently. Although I will always love greys! But pinks, violets and greys in particular are really exciting me at the moment. :) You have to get Rose Dore - it is BEAUTIFUL! 🧡 Enjoy experimenting. xx
Really don’t dwell on these negative people, there are so many unhappy, unfulfilled jealous types out there. I have been following for a couple of months and find your videos so uplifting and inspiring. Ps luv what you’re doing with Melanie Chadwick also, you’re both so wise, keep it up !
You're doing a wonderful job! Stay strong and don't let the jerks get to you. There are more of us then them. Thank you, I truly enjoy watching your channel
You inspire me! Please keep making videos! I adore your colour palette and your art style. Chronic illness has take away a lot but has also given me the opportunity to experience life in a different way and art has re-entered my life. I am exploring different materials and techniques. I love your art and your videos. Thankyou for being so sharing and so inspiring!
Hi Sarah! I'm so sorry to hear about your illness. But it's wonderful that you're exploring different art materials and techniques (it really helps to have something positive to focus on, doesn't it?). I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the videos and I'm sending all the good vibes your way! 🤗
I very much appreciate your being open and honest here. It's important to get these things out, and off of your chest. You've definitely created a wonderful community here, Natasha! So I hope you'll continue to talk to us all, about whatever you want too here, we got your back girl!✌🏻💗✨
Ah, I appreciate that so much, Lindsay! Thank you. 💗 I'll try not to dwell on the negative though - I just felt that I had to mention it in this video as there had been so much of it after I'd uploaded a video that became quite popular and was being viewed by lots of people.
I love Kremer Pigments watercolors. This is one palette I've wanted for a while, so it's instructive watching you paint with it. Your moon is beautiful, and your technique of building up the layers fascinating. Let the trolls eat their hearts out. 💕
So glad you posted this review, Kremer watercolours are surprising and unique, and loved what you did. Sorry you have been getting the meaner side of social media, and good for you taking the right kind of action against it. I wish more people did that! As you said, this space is yours. Nice to watch you paint. Like your honesty, WHO HASN’t done something like that. I can see that this palette would be good to use in tandem with a palettes of brights or muted too, I am not a purist and think watercolour can be used in many ways, it is the result that matters. Learn the subject by all means but then bend it to what you can do the possibilities are endless.
Thank you for your kind comment, Lindy! 💗 I'm in total agreement with you; I don't like to impose lots of 'rules' for using watercolour - if you enjoy the process and the end result is great, it doesn't matter how you use them!
Thank you for this video, and hearing your thoughts on negative comments etc was absolutely fine. I have wondered how you were managing the inevitable sad realities of You Tube, so having a chat about it is very "real" and honest. Thank you also for your instinct to shield us from the negativity. It can drain a lot of emotional energy in processing these comments, I'm sure. Take a break if you need one- your happy, loyal audience will still be here when you recover and are ready to move forward again! Loved seeing this painting come together, great details!💝🎨
I'm in the art community on Twitch as a streamer and understand the importance of keeping boundaries for yourself and your community! That's fantastic that you're keeping it a safe space for everyone to be able to be on their own journeys and paths. That's what a leader does to protect themselves and their people. There shouldn't be anyone who gatekeeps artists with materials or tools or styles. Part of being an artist is the exploration. Also, I'm glad you're taking the time for yourself to create without the filming or "sharing" process. It's important that we still take bits of moments for just ourselves. Keep exploring, keep creating, and see you in the next video!!
Thank you so much for your encouragement, and I totally agree with you about the gatekeeping aspect - I'm not sure why but I seem to have run into a few of those 'gatekeepers' on both RUclips and Instagram just recently! I've always felt the same as you; that being an artist is about exploration and not about imposing too many rules or limits on yourself/your work. Thank you again, and I hope you're having a great (and creative) week! x
I’m happy to report I’m one of the new subscribers since your art haul video! It’s a real shame about the negativity you experienced and good on your for blocking it! There’s no time for that. Personally, I find so much peace and inspiration in your channel and appreciate all that you share! I’m learning a lot as well, so thank you for all that you do Natasha!
I love your colour palette! I find it very inspiring. As for the watercolour palette here, I like the idea behind it but not 100% sure of the colours for me but I might try and make a limited palette for myself with different greys and dark tones. Thanks for sharing! Also loving the moon.
That's a great idea - I love that, Sofie! 🧡 I recently heard about someone making their own greys palette with liquid charcoal and paints which sounded interesting. Thanks for your lovely comment about the moon!
@@NatashaNewtonArt oh I hadn't thought about making it a mixed media palette! I might try to add in some curve balls, I've really been enjoying the graphitint too, time to experiment 😁
I really enjoyed this video, I agree I always want to see the lovely products people feature in art hauls being actually used for artworks (though i do of course love some swatching). Love how this piece turned out.
I love your paintings and colorings. To hell with the trolls. These people are hurting. That's the only way you can think about them. And I love your voice. It's extremely soothing. 🌹❣🌹
I have a set of their gold paints that I bought about 4 yrs ago . They are beautiful!!! Love your channel Natasha!!!! Love your blogs in the countryside.
Hi Natasha - I love your channel! I have been watching it since November last year (actually binge watched all the back episodes too!). As you say, there is no room for negativity and unnecessary rudeness and I’m sorry you have had to deal with the “‘trolls”. Keep doing what you do - I, for one, love it all :)
Darling Natasha, I am a relatively new subscriber, & feel I have to stand forward & vocalise my support because you are an absolute gem of a woman! & I'm delighted to have found your channel. Never mind those silly naysayers, (I understand that reading comments such as those 'nip' you a bit, but that is because you are a caring & considerate human being) their comments are a reflection of themselves & bear no relation to you or your talent whatsoever. Your colour palette is an extension of you my love, & I personally believe that is what we artists do every time we create - we leave a little piece of ourselves on the paper. You are marvelous Natasha, watching your videos is a joy & an insparation ... keep on doing you, unapologetically & proudly! 😊 Much Love xx xx
I've had a person watch my video about choosing "environmentally friendly" colors and say that "people like me care more about plants and animals than humans" ... the thought process of trolls is the equivalent of an elephant trying to herd cats
a very good idea to create a moon with these colors on black paper .... I´m thinking that you can also use these palette on other watercolorpapers in naturly colors like brown, beige etc pp or any other to see more effect by all these colors at the end. this could be very interessting ... I should make some experiments, with the colors that I own, because I like this.
I’m so sorry to hear that, Natasha. You are a wonderful artist! Like I commented before, I tried out ‘copying’ one of your drawings and I loved how it turned out. Your choice of colours are so unique and it’s made me look at my paints differently and trying those type colours that I usually don’t go for. Some people are just plain mean and we must ignore them, but it does always take you aback that someone could be so nasty. Anyway, you keep doing what you’re doing. I’m sure many would agree with me that you inspire them. Your calm, gentle voice, your excellent analyses and description of products, and the great music you choose make it such a pleasure to watch. God bless you and keep you strong!
Thank you so much for such a kind and lovely comment - I do appreciate it! 💗 I'm so pleased that you've been inspired to try different colours and experiment with colours that you wouldn't have necessarily used before. I love that!
I love watching your videos partly because you use colour palettes I wouldn’t think to try. So just ignore the trolls and keep doing what you do. Oh and you are a real artist in my opinion for what it’s worth
Love the moons that you do. It’s interesting that I love your work because your pallete is muted. It’s very surprising that another artist would criticise you, other artists really would benefit each other by applauding all efforts. Your work is superb, inspirational and very aspirational too. Am glad you block trolls, all of us “art cheerleaders” don’t need the negativity either. Keep your chin up lady, you’re awesome 😎🤩☀️🎉💕
Just discovered your channel recently. Love, love love your unique colour choices they are very inspiring because i-tend to use rather strong primaries. Seeing how you work with completely hues is very exciting.
Thank you so much! I'm so pleased that you find it inspiring. I've just always painted in this way, and didn't think about my choices in much depth until I started sharing my work on RUclips, and then I realised from viewers' comments that maybe they are quite unique choices! (It seems to be one of the things that people comment on most often, which is lovely).
I love your luna painting and you kremer palette, I just want to thank you because I've wanted to get a kremer palette but didn't want the shipping and import duty but now thanks to you I bought the metallic/pearl small palette which is lovely. Have you seen the blue palette it's stunning but I don't think A P Fitzpatrick stock it.
I am really happy to discover your channel, I adore everything, your work, your soothing voice and specially your attitude towards uhm.. unpleasant people and experiences. And yes, I do agree that the once you reach a larger audiences, it comes with those experiences and I swear once you are able to overcome those, you will grow and I am happy to see and support you in achieving your success. Don't let others destroy you and you have the right to control what you accept or reject in your life, so please, just be yourself and do what you love. With your attitude, you will go places.. I can feel it. Thank you for sharing this experience with us, and please rest as long as you need. I may sound like a granny (I think I really do..) but you did great!
that palette looks delicious and a very magical moon! really interesting texture, reminds me kind of like Starry Night? Like with the mark making sort of thing. Idk but I like it, nice one!
I'm so pleased that the videos have given you inspiration, Danielle! It's only recently that I started to use mixed media regularly in my work, but now I love it! It's such a fun and creative way of working. Thank you for your comment. :)
I like your subtle colours. I have a friend who constantly takes the most amazing photos of the moon so I am interested in seeing new images of it. As for the negative comments. I recently deleted one on my channel and afterwards thought l should have blocked the person.
Firstly, GORGEOUS!! Second, discovered you last week & currently binging your catalogue 😁. Lastly, there's this magical moment about 10min in where your piece begins looking like a translucent globe (almost like a marble) and that illusion carries through right to the finished piece! I suspect it's your choice to use a black ground that pushes the illusion. Love it!
I love this moon painting! I'm curious though, did you have a reference photo in front of you or did you just go with the colours? Thanks for your videos!
I googled "full moon" and worked from several images that came up, but I feel I should have paid more attention to the reference images! I'm currently working on a new version of this piece. :)
Natasha, keep your good work and DON'T stop making videos because of anyone else or stupid people. Remember standing out for yourself you do for many other good people to. Life is never always positive and being protective is sometimes a must. Hugs from London
💜💜💜💜you are just a wonderful artist and person and I appreciate your channel and have learned soooooo much from you, so thank you very much! Im a mother of 5 and a professional photographer and an artist in Southern California ~
Hi Natasha - thank you for another lovely video. I am glad you voiced your hurt about the horrible comments - I think it is important that these things are discussed, rather than glossed over. The comments will have been designed to provoke hurt, I'm afraid - they have nothing to do with art. It's a horrible aspect of online life and I am sorry that you had to deal with it. I can only imagine how unpleasant that was. I love your work and learn so much from your videos. x
Had my first troll recently. I’ve only been on RUclips since the summer. Never thought I would post videos because it is totally out of my comfort zone but friends were saying I should. In a way I thought I had “arrived” with my troll baptism. But really why do people feel the need to search out things to be hurtful about? There area so many things to get wound up about. Still astounds me.
I'm so pleased that you're finding it inspiring - thanks Silke! 🧡
Most of the time, trolls are not even artists! A real artist would give advice, tips. A troll just give free hate. I hope you won’t have to deal with too many of them.
I love this painting and this palette is perfect to learn about values. Thanks for sharing this video 💕
I love that your comment has so many likes! I agree with everything you've said. Thank you!
Yeah trolls are very sad individuals. They may also be jealous. Poor troll - we pity them. “Look under the bridges, that’s where they hide”...pity poor troll 🤣
@@NatashaNewtonArt And they are nothing more than pathetic people who tap out hate messages on the net because they have nothing to do.
Fantastic painting. I find your channel a joy and delight, Natasha
🥰 Sending 💖
PS: Rabbit Hole Alert: the Kremer Metallic Watercolours are D.I.V.I.N.E !!!
Ha ha, I love the thought of them typing their spiteful comments while sitting on the loo - that's probably where they ARE doing it! And oh yes, I've heard good things about the Kremer metallic watercolours from other viewers too and I've checked them out - they look absolutely gorgeous! 💗💗💗
Gorgeous. I am impressed with how well you can paint a circle! I am glad you blocked the trolls - I love your colour choices!
Thanks Tanya! I had a bit of help with this one though (I drew a circle with a compass beforehand!). ;)
Thank you for your video. I'm little art RUclipsr myself and I live in a country which have a very narrow view of art so I totally understand. Just hang in there, I see art as a universe, with various styles, concepts, forms and types, we dont all art the same or do the same kind of art. That's the beauty of art.
I totally agree with you, Dawn! Thank you.
Natasha, your beautiful work inspired me to desaturate my palette and I’ve produced some very different work I really like. Thank you for all you do and baubles to the trolls 🙂
This is so lovely to hear, thanks Sam!
Thanks so much Karolina, that means a lot to me! 🧡 Happy to keep you company this morning and I hope you have a great weekend! x
Nourishment for the soul is so accurate!
Thank you so much for your lovely comment - and oh, how I would love to visit Kremer's NYC store (I saw photos of it online!). 💗
Thank you for all your videos. I find them really inspiring and i love listening to you talk about supplies and colors. I too am drawn mostly to earth and subdued còlors. I love your art.
Thank you so much, Cathy! You're going to love a palette by A Gallo I'm going to be sharing soon (all earth colours and absolutely gorgeous!).
Thank you for sharing this palette, when I saw this palette in your original haul I was intrigued but really couldn't think how it would fit in with your other paints. It was really interesting to see how you used it.
It's such a gorgeous palette - I can see myself using it a lot! I already want to try some more moons on different papers. 🧡
I really appreciate that you work with a more specific pallet of colours. It's helped me reconsider why I think I need to own the full rainbow in a brand when I tend to only use a few colours. Thank you for that :)
I'm so pleased that it's helped you - thank you for letting me know! :)
I absolutely adore your selection of colours - they really “speak” to me :) thank you for another great video!
That’s lovely to hear, I’m so pleased! Thank you. 🧡
Thank you so much for your lovely comment - I really appreciate everything you've said here!
you are a lovely person and listening to you and looking at your artwork is an inspiration. your style is so original and unique. of course you will attract small minded and jealous people.
Thank you so much for your kind and wise words, Louise! 🧡
Just found your channel and subbed. I adore Kremer paints, so this subject matter caught my eye when it popped up in my feed. Looking forward to seeing more of your art. Remember, no one does Art like you, we are all unique!
Thank you for your kind words, Jo Anne! 🧡
@@NatashaNewtonArt Yw! X
Good for you! It is YOUR channel. Your art is very lovely, and you can use whatever palette you want! The fact that you take the time to post all your videos for all to see is extremely kind of you. I don't think I could do it, so I am glad you do. 😁
Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching the videos, Lili! 🧡
I love your moon paintings, and this looks like the perfect palette for them!
I particularly liked the closeups at the end as we can really see the different layers shining through. Thank you for posting another of your excellent movies! xxx
Thank you, I'm so glad that you enjoyed it (I know how much you love the close-ups and I always think of that when I include them now!). 🧡 xxx
Thank you so much and welcome!
Thank you so much, Jeanine! Your kind comment is much appreciated too and I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the videos! xx
Wonderful painting, inspired me to play with monochromatic palette. Tfs
That's great to hear, thanks Eleni! 🧡
The colors you choose are inspiring and beautiful!
This is lovely to hear, thanks Maddy!
Thank you! Enjoyed this video! What a lovely painting of the moon. ❤️
So glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!
So much love and appreciation for you, your art and your lovely spirit., your walks, your fears, enthusiasm. Thank you so much for sharing, it takes courage and you have both talent and the courage to share it.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment, Meg! Your kind words are much appreciated. :)
🤗~Fran
I have this palette too, and I love it! So unique. I'm so pleased you're enjoying it! 🧡
That’s a beautiful painting! I recently ordered a grey colour pencil set (intuitive purchase 😁) and was wondering what to use it for - a moon drawing on black paper would be perfect! 🌚
Sorry to hear you had to deal with this negativity, especially as your channel is one of the most positive ones I‘m following right now, and so inspiring. Please don’t let it get to you, there are sad people out there and it‘s no use trying to find reason behind their comments. You have to follow your own path and take on board your own advice to move on.
Thanks so much, Brigitte. I appreciate your kind words! Enjoy your new pencils; they sound lovely!
Gorgeous! It came out very realistic 💓💓
Thanks so much! 🧡
The layers are just beautiful.
Thanks Priscilla!
Thanks Melissa, I really appreciate that! I hope that someday you feel that you're able to share your creativity too. :)
Thank you for another lovely video. Ignore the negative people, your videos are so inspiring and relaxing. I love all colours but you inspire me to try a more limited palette
Thank you so much, Elena! 🧡
What a beautiful picture. Thank you for switching and sharing information on this set of paints.
So sorry about the negative comments. Social media, unfortunately, has brought a lot of closet bullies out of their dark holes.
Thanks Eileen, what you say is very true. 🧡 I wish they'd disappear back into their dark holes!
This must be the most perfect circular shape I’ve seen anyone draw! And Kremer paints are really cool!
What a wonderful moon! I was tempted by Kremer's Blue Set when they released it but I just couldn't justify it for many reasons. I know their paints are top notch and I am glad you are happy with the set! 🤩🥰
I am so sorry you had to encounter those trolls.
Beautiful mark making and textures in the moon painting!xx
Thanks Jess! xx
Thank you so much for your kind words, Lesley! 🧡 I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the podcasts too!
oh I love how the painting turned out 😍
Thank you! :)
You're doing a wonderful job! Stay strong and don't let the jerks get to you. There are more of us then them.
Thank you, I truly enjoy watching your channel
Thank you so much, Stephanie. I really appreciate that!
It's interesting how beautiful a pallet of grey colors can be. I really like them.
Thanks Ryan! I agree, I think they're beautiful.
Wow this is so realistic! Good job 🌸🥰
Thank you, I'm so glad you like it!
Thank you for sharing your art and process with us Natasha! Appreciate the clear boundaries you set for your channel!✌🏻
Thank you so much, Dawn! 🧡
Beautiful work! I love grey palates as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful palates and work.
Thank you so much, Lindsay! 🧡
Thank you so much! I can see myself using this palette a lot. 🧡
Love your work and limited palette. Beautiful 🌸 🙏✌🏼🍃❤️
Thank you so much, Corinne!
I love your videos and your work. Pay no mind to the trolls, they obviously have issues. Keep creating, you are doing a grand job! :)
Thank you, I will Debbie! 🧡
I love these colors!
Thank you - me too! :)
Your unique art style and colour choice is inspiring. Love to hear you speak as well. Love your vlogs. Thank you for sharing your art supplies.
Thank you so much! I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the videos. 🧡
Such kind words, thank you so much Leah! I very much appreciate them (and you!). 💗
Wonderful painting ❤️
Thank you very much!
Beautiful painting! Impressed by how much those paints can layer, contrary to appearances
Yes, they layered really well! Thank you! 🧡
That's so lovely to hear, thank you Stacie! 💗
Fun with grey's! Yay!
Thanks Stephanie!
I really enjoyed this video, I agree I always want to see the lovely products people feature in art hauls being actually used for artworks (though i do of course love some swatching). Love how this piece turned out.
Thanks so much, Katie! Really pleased that you like it. :)
I just wanted to pop in to day that I absolutely adore your videos. Don't change a thing! 🤍
I really appreciate that, thanks Amber! 🧡
I love your paintings and colorings. To hell with the trolls. These people are hurting. That's the only way you can think about them. And I love your voice. It's extremely soothing. 🌹❣🌹
Thank you so much, Rana! 🧡
What a beautiful painting. may put this palette on my wish list Thank you for producing such wonderful Videos for us to watch
Thank you so much, Amber! I'm pleased that you enjoy them. :)
I have a set of their gold paints that I bought about 4 yrs ago . They are beautiful!!! Love your channel Natasha!!!! Love your blogs in the countryside.
Thank you, Mildred! The Kremer gold paints look absolutely gorgeous!
This is honestly so lovely to hear, thank you so much for taking the time to tell me! I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the videos. x
I’m fascinated. I love this.
Much Love xx xx
What a lovely comment! Thank you for taking the time to leave it and for your kind words of encouragement! I appreciate them so much. :) xxx
I've had a person watch my video about choosing "environmentally friendly" colors and say that "people like me care more about plants and animals than humans" ... the thought process of trolls is the equivalent of an elephant trying to herd cats
And by the way I LOVE the texture of the moon!!!
If they can find something to criticise, they will. And often logic doesn't even come into it! ;)
Really gorgeous moon! Love the colors. 😍👍
Thanks so much! 😊
a very good idea to create a moon with these colors on black paper ....
I really appreciate that, Wendy. Thank you! 💗
Ah, thank you - what a lovely comment! I really appreciate your encouraging words. xx
Just discovered your channel recently. Love, love love your unique colour choices they are very inspiring because i-tend to use rather strong primaries. Seeing how you work with completely hues is very exciting.
Sorry for the typos. I meant to write "with completely different hues "
I'm so pleased that you've managed to get one! I have seen the blue palette and I am so tempted by it - it looks gorgeous!
I enjoy watching your videos ! Don't let the negative people get to you. They're not worth it.
I appreciate that, thank you! 💗
Absolutely loved this video. Very inspiring. Thanks 😊
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Jan. :)
Beautiful!!! I love kremer paints💗🌈💗
Me too, they're such fantastic quality!
I love the moon. Well done.
Thank you, Darlene! 🧡
What a truly lovely comment to read, thank you so much Joie! I very much appreciate your words. 💗💗💗
that palette looks delicious and a very magical moon! really interesting texture, reminds me kind of like Starry Night? Like with the mark making sort of thing. Idk but I like it, nice one!
I know what you mean! Thank you. :)
Lovely video. Those watercolours seem wonderful, and the colours!
Thank you! Yes, delete and block the trolls - it's the only way to deal with them!
Love it!
Ah, thank you so much! 🧡 Yes, it's interesting to work on black paper - I'm really enjoying it and want to paint more of these moons. :)
I absolutely adore you and your channel. As for negative people just ignore them. They have nothing better to do.
Thank you so much, JoAnn!
Beautiful, I love those cool toned blue greys also, some of my faves for everything hehe! X
Definitely! Good in every colour palette in my eyes! 🖤
I love your swatching!
Thanks Beth! :)
Thank you so much for your kind words, Christo! 🧡
Thank you for sharing, so beautiful!
Thank you, Katherine! 🧡
Sending love 💚 thank you for posting such beautiful and relaxing content. I adore your channel.
Thank you so much, Laura! I really appreciate that. :) x
💜💜💜💜you are just a wonderful artist and person and I appreciate your channel and have learned soooooo much from you, so thank you very much! Im a mother of 5 and a professional photographer and an artist in Southern California ~
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your encouraging comment! 🤗
Your channel is awesome. Don't let the nay sayers get you down. I look forward to your next video. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much, Cate! 🤗
I love your work and learn so much from your videos. x
Thank you for such a lovely and thoughtful comment, Andrea. 🧡 I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the videos!
I'm so sorry that you've had to deal with them too. I just don't understand their mentality at all.
