Wow. I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. It was so full of knowledge. We're so blessed to have a Bishop teaching online this level of course. I had no problems with audio.
I’m single, female, no family left, most of friends have died since 2018. I’m very isolated because I also have no access to Mass and Sacraments. I’m age 67, with health issues, on a fixed income. Moving isn’t an option, so one might consider me a hermit, or hermitess. I keep the Faith as best I can.
Being single in the world is not a "State of Life." It's not Biblical in the sense that the Church doesn't promote it as a state of life. It's tolerated by the Church because the Church understands that God wills it once in a while, showing us through the circumstances of the individual's life. For example, he may want them doing something else rather than marry, or he doesn't give them a spouse. But the idea of someone actively thinking that, "Hey, I don't feel called to marriage neither the religious life." Well, my Traditional Catholic Priest says that person is mentally ill. "Where is the sacrifice?" he said, "if they didn't marry just because they didn't want to?" They who are Priests still love or desire marriage but decide to sacrifice it for a higher state. Truthfully, no one would want such a person in a religious house or to be married to such until they become well. One little survey we can take to confirm that this isn't the mind of the Church actively is to realise that it's only women who think this way. (Women are the only gender that can develop the mental illness called Frigidity). The states of life are valid to be coming from God objectively because both genders aspire to these. The singleness in the world is a Vatican II idea and against charity, sacrifice, selflessness, nature, etc. It's truly a mental issue when someone does this without any obstacle obstructing their entrance into a state of life, which is only Marriage, Priesthood and Religious life.

Excellent course for those of us who need to fill in the gaps in our self-education! Please get a mic for the bishop. Some parts of the audio cannot be heard at all.
Thank you! And please upload a basic Latin course. Between 1300 and 1517 was Kabbalah infiltration into some Catholic thought, plus pagan ideals. Early Masonry developing.
May this note find us all ever closer to God. What a good resource! It would be a blessing to have access of what is read, perhaps the title and author listed in video discretion, or electronic version if notes, and such. Not too important as the YT transcript serves - if not perfect. I converted about 6-7 years ago, and have discovered pre-Modernist unpoisoned Catholic Cataclysm in 'the counsel of Trent' classes after TLMass last year and since learned much through Fr. Ripperger's video, and someday I hope to dive into the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas, and others. The better I understand the Natural Law Theology and the Catholic expansion of it though Devine Inspirations and clear logic, the better Catholic and (God Willing) ever closer to Him. Thank you, Bishop Cahill, for this. I expect to Benefit from the remainder course videos here. God Bless., Steve PS. this video's audio is very low, but adequate.
Why does it cut out at 7:50ish for about 30 secs ? Can we get the transcript for this time? Not sure how much more this will happen as still less than 10 mins in 😅.. thank you for posting this anyway… ❤
@@matthewschmidt5069 it's fact that the rite of consecration he was consecrated with was used by other Catholic bishops, so he has precedent on his side. The onus is on you to prove that the Montini rite is valid, does not violate Pope Pius XII's Mediator Dei, and it somehow invalidated the rite this bishop used.
@@matthewschmidt5069You have no authority to say that he is. You like a man who says that all religions lead the same place? You like a man who placed a pagan idol on the main altar of St. Peter’s? Someone who blesses homosexuality? Good luck with that! 😢
So grateful for these lectures.... comming out from Novus and quite recently from "una cum" - so helpful JMJ+

Audio very low. Use ear buds or amplifier if you have one.
Some of us were born to be single, it is biblical, but we need a catholic family and a catholic society. otherwise we isolate and become hermits.
And on top of that ,, we grew up in the strictest of faiths ...no wonder so many single girls ....I'm one of them.

At last, great course again. I couldn't have waited!
Great! I’m so glad I found this!
Father Cahill’s text is invaluable. I’m happy to hear His Excellency utilizing it.
Thank you His Eminence for this beautiful Lecture.

This is great. One suggestion put a wireless microphone on Bishop Sanborn or ask him to not wander away from the active microphone.

would you like a side of bacon with that?
Can Not hear His excellency throughout much of this even at full volume unfortunately. Audio no bueno...
Yes, too low on my machine too and subtitles were hopeless. What a shame.
I am hard of heae😢please add a mic to Rev Bishop Sanborn, for Heavens!
Is it possible to amplify the audio? It's such an important lecture, one to be listened to repeatedly! Please pray 3 Hail Marys for the good Bishop!
