They close the roads up that way during winter to save the tracks from being destroyed, then some others for safety as they are very scratchy and un drivable no matter how good some people think they are haha
Just wondering did you guys pick up any of the rubbish in the campfire in the background or just left it there or contributed to it as a influencer need to promote the right message don’t you think constantly as some take awhile to listen I liked your positive message about tyre pressures good to see thank you for that.
And the fuel being poured straight on the ground is also problematic and not a good look as someone that influences others. Showing them picking up the rubbish would be a good look and a way better way to be a positive role model for others, otherwise leaving it lying there doesn't help the problem of cleaning up the bush and tracks 😢
I enjoy your videos Sam but you have to admit, track closures which are happening more and more by Indigenous caretakers, NSW Parks (other states), councils and land owners occur because people trashing the environment (yep plenty of you and mates flooring it in the bush and cutting up the area/tracks/salt pans.service roads, sending it....). What would of happened if the track that was closed that you complained about was open? It is sensitive alpine area Sam. Pouring and leaving oil based products in the bush/area (sprung on this one at least pouring your diesel on the ground. Other times where I see that a busted dive etc and then the fluids dropped on the ground ..). Others enjoying the serenity of the bush then the lack of considerers that need to pump up the volume and party on, why would you go bush if you want to be in a disco/band... Your channel and TJ and Mac are sorry to say don't set a great example on good bush management. Love to see the vehicle skills, the intrepidness of the adventures, the broke it and fix it on the track, coping with the environment but have a look at yourself, maybe you need to to tone it down and present a better role model than a bogan in his backyard that doesn't;t care about anyone else that wants to enjoy the same space as well.
Yep, I thought the same thing 🫣 as influencers I feel like they have a duty to do things right so that other viewers don't now go and tip fuel straight onto the ground which is awful for the environment 😑 not treating tracks and places with respect will result in more and more being shut down all together. Not good imo.
The best chance for finding “snow” Is in the outer suburbs of Melbourne .. but I heard from someone that they would suggest to hold off and wait til you got to Syd-en-eee ;)
Keen to see the diagnosis on the fuel system, mine does the same thing under heavy load but the pressure only drops to about 18kpsi when the ecu is commanding 24k. Have ramped up the CP3 at idle with the scan tool and it was pretty close, next is the injector return test. I'm hoping it's not injectors as they're super expensive here and only a bit cheaper from the states. You could also have a weak pressure relief valve on the end of the fuel rail if you haven't already fitted a race plug.
I have camped at the campsite where you guys parked up and could name atleast half the people in the “group of hikers” that you passed. It’s unreal in the peak of winter
If that was Mt bluff I was there a week before yous and there was just enough snow at the very top to actually experience snow but it was like a winter land 😅
Gas alot cheaper camping don't need a Microwave not at home you are camping ant you maybe stay at home if you need a microwave you are camping ant you?
You do battery power for fridge gas for cooking or camp fire don't need to spend all that MONEY thousands of dollars just to have a Microwave and pie warmer it a bit of a walk don't you THINK??

Did you just dispose of your fuel sample at 16minutes onto the ground?
