yeah i would say their guitar tones weren’t as great for this song as they were during the AM era - just my opinion. jamie’s buzzy-sounding fuzz here is sick but it doesn’t cut through the mix enough cause it’s so thin. alex’s tone is too bassy and almost sounds like it lacks any fuzz or distortion - overall the song lacks the energy it had during the AM tour. hopefully on the next tour they’ll go back to some really great live tones
