Hey Im Michał and Im 16 years old. Have you always had a low voice or is it through subharmonic exercises? I would like to know if I could sing subharmonically with a higher voice?
My voice pretty much dropped when I was starting 8th grade and has been the same ever since (with the exception of maturing and training). Subharmonic exercises help with the extension but doesn't really add anything to my normal range so I train that separately. Yes - you can sing subharmonics with any voice type (and with pretty much any instrument). It will take time because the approach is not typical of vocal pedagogy, or any sort of specific training, really. Trial, error, peer review, and practice is pretty much all we have at the moment (research as well).
