I haven't read the convention book, but I always thought the Syndicate was the most understandable Magik group because there is an easy metaphor of money and quintensence are quantum of potential realities.
Weird... if you haven't yet, give the comic Black Monday Murders a read. It's not spot on, but the aesthetics seem to be an inspiration for this book. Or maybe it's the other way around? Aaaaa... It's a good read either way. Also, if your life is your time un the world, and if money is a measurable result of your use of that time that you can give others to get things, you could say that money is life? Or life "energy"? (Or, *gasp*, "value"?... Creepy AF) Then going Prime=Money makes all kinds of sense. Some interesting ideas to chew on there.

Do you think NFTs were a Syndicate invention or a Virtual Adept one?
They were a Nefandi invention.
NFTs definitely feel like a Syndicate snafu. The Adjustment goes *very* wrong, and the Paradox hits them with a bubble bursting.
