Man it’s coming together!! I get excited seeing other people come to a close on a build!! I completely understand finding what you can!! I’ve rummaged around in the barn and field many days looking for steel or parts!! Lol. Keep digging brother!!
Lookin good Jason. I sure enjoy watchin you build your cars. There are so many small things I pick up on. You and Chris with On The Berm sure are good fabricators!
Thats been the easiest one I have ever done. I used to really overthink them and then just tear it up and be all peeved about it. kinda had to let that go and just go "KISS" on this part.
Tell Jason you look like you're having fun building that car 🚗 as I am watching you at least very good job buddy. You should have been a shop teacher. Well if I lived closer to you I'd come on over there and help. Build a couple o Street stock race cars in my life so I know you're having a great time working on that one. Good to see the progress.
I got 30 years experience in Auto and mechanics and auto collision repair also. But now I'm retired I live in Rocky Top Tennessee, little town called Briceville hopefully I'll get to come watch you race this year but if not I'll keep watching you videos. Love the content keep up the good work.
Buddy, you do some amazing work, with or without a bunch of experience tools. As for you foot bars, I remember back in the 80's when Mark Martin was still running ASA. He took a shot to the area directly behind the left front tire. Broke either his left ankle or leg. Good job!
Car is coming along nicely! Do y'all plan on making the Clayhill opener with the Camaro? We just switched to E-85 as well. Excited to see how it goes. Might have to take out that shroud you built us to get it to build temp! Already ran cool with gas last year!
Jason I don't think I would bet to crazy on how short you make those frame horns, I would leave enough to try and protect your radiator ? You could maybe have come off the center of your shock tower bar to you bracing to if you have too ? Like you said there is many ways it can be done, man your going to cut it close to getting that thing done ?

Exactly ;)

I appreciate it Patrick, but honestly, Chris is better than me on cages 😀
That car is coming along great. Like how you did the radiator mount and yes running e85 or methanol no need of a shroud.

Definitely liking how it's coming together :)

Awesome work as usual Jason. I’m excited to see it come off the jig won’t be long now!
Pulled the fuel cell and engine out last night getting ready to get it off !
@@DIRTRACELIFE that’s awesome buddy! Good luck with the rest of the build may it go quick and smooth for you

Thank you sir, I'm just learning as I go but getting a few things right along the way! ;)

Yes, Planning for Rachel to run there April 6th!
The car is coming along. It will be soon on the track
Yes sir
Hey Jason from my experience if the upper radiator hose runs down my car always ran cooler if that helps any
Good to know, thank you
Jason, I’m assuming you run Race Grade E85, which brand are you using?
I am running the Renegade E85. Being new to E85 I sure don't want to add the complexity of testing and tuning for pump E85.
@@DIRTRACELIFE how do you like it? Is it the renegade orange E85 as they call it?
@@DIRTRACELIFE also, did you notice a pretty dramatic engine water temp reduction vs race gas? I’m assuming you ran something like VP110 before?
Yes it is, runs very cold, I'm adding a thermostat this year. no issues at all cold firing the engine.
Gussets in the door bars?
Yep, Before its over there will be!

Cutting it very close, but just have to keep marching forward and see it through.
Ive seen alot of people over look fot protection...if it wasnt there just hitting the wall could shove a tire in that area
Thats a good point about even the LF tire folding inward.
@@DIRTRACELIFE glad to see u putting protection in the car to take care of ur feet
Have u named the new car yet she's looking good
Not yet, Have a few ideas but no name
Gobber juice....lol
Everything slimey can fall in that category LOL
rice county here watching ya!!!
Thanks Bud
