Me being African American I want to address the Black American vs African American. For most part, the ones that prefer Black American oppose to African American usually say they don't know what part of Africa they are from and its a Continent making the term "African" too broad. They KNOW they are Black, know they've been here for hundreds of years, hence why they preference that term. For people who may think they are selling out Africa, that's not the case 😂 As for the African American term, MOST here use that. On flipside, alot of the ones who use the term African American are comfortable with it being a knowingly broad term. Although it's broad, it's also a acknowledgement of a homeland where are origins are from to us. Myself, I prefer African American instead of Black American because to me the Black part is ALMOST not really a identity 😂 Think of it like this, do Kenyans call themselves Black Kenyans or Black Nigerians? Even in America, the White people are either JUST American or JUST Italian, Irish etc or the said Country and thats it. They never say White American, or White Italian etc 😂 The Good Brother Pastor mentioned "they" are Black be proud of it, (meaning us) we are Black and proud, however it's when it's termed in the way I said in above example, it sounds weird in that particular content. If someone called me Black American, I do feel funny inside hearing it, but I won't be mad or try to correct anyone 😂 We hear it often here. African American is more dominantly used here in the U.S. My dna was tested, many parts of Africa is in it. My highest % was Nigeria specifically IGBO. All my 1st cousins that tested got IGBO as well. Dna is complexed because i noticed 2nd and 3rd cousins say simpley Nigeria with no IGBO under it 🤷🏿‍♂️ Lastly the scammer thing 😂 Nigeria has the MOST traveled and LARGEST POPULATION in Africa, naturally when it comes to any type negative activity, (like all countrys have) they probably would be noted 1st BECAUSE THEY ARE MOST SEEN AROUND THE WORLD 😂 Like 60% of African Americans have most % Nigeria, does that make us 60% scammers too? If most of us come from them, why aren't we known for that? 😂 People please throw that ridiculous ignorant stigma in the trash. People just mad they got, got by a opportunistic individual(s) the Country of Nigeria don't have anything to do with it that 😂 All of Africa is in my veins in my opinion 😂 !EXCEPT THOSE NORTH AFRICA ARAB RAN COUNTRYS! 👎🏾 Special Shout Out to all my Good Brother's in this vid! Most blacks in America are not of African descent. We have been here and were always in America. This is why we don't want to be called African American, because many of us know we our not African. Our elders always knew we were American Indian and the government started calling us African Americans in 1970s. Do you know that the government has literally changed our identity 4 times. We went from Indians, Negro, Coloreds, Afro-Americans, black Americans, and now African Americans. They don't want us to know we are Indian or Indigenous. America is our motherland and if you read books about American explorers in the 1600s they tell you blacks were here in the millions. You ask a Nigerian about the slave trade and they won't even know what you're talking about. They never put their own into slavery. The reason why they have been calling us African is so theu can get away with not paying us reparations. They also want to continue to tax us. Only 92,000 slaves came from Africa. The other millions of slaves were already prisoners of war in their own homeland.

I think one of the reasons many blacks in the diaspora who were forcefully taken from the land do not want to return to Nigeria but anywhere else is because of the negative image that has been painted and deemed true of people from Nigeria. Another aspect is all the videos coming out from there that depict witchcraft, voodoo, and going to people with animals to get rich quick and not believing in God. The image of Nigeria must change; hurting your brothers with witchcraft and voodoo and all these ills we have seen in videos and Nigerian movies - somewhat reflect the reality of Nigeria. Someone needs to start showing the positives of Nigeria because what we have seen in the West is not good. The people of Nigeria also need to start being their brother's keeper and stop going and believing in the bushman, medicine man, or "herbalist -not what this means in the West" to get rich quick and harm others. IT IS TIME TO CLEAN UP THE IMAGE OF NIGERIA -- start with the people. Ghana has never had this image, and it seems like the people there are welcoming and not as scammy as Nigerians - again, this is based on the images and videos of both countries.

How can I explain this, the term black is a social construct legal term in America which has no standing in law, maybe in Africa that's not the case and also to be called black is a negative term here we are a people of nations not so call skin tones

We are black American from America we are not Africans these DNA come from the colonizers that has put all these DNA in one pool of people to Nigerian sorry people we are not African this has been a story they have told people and made up by whyte people that we came from Africa sorry to upset you Africans but we are from American we got colonized on our on land of America I have done my genealogy it doesn’t trace back to Africa at all I suggest all other black Americans the same thing and find there linage and stop getting these DNA from the same people that has colonized you. The whyte people that are here are not from American they came here America and colonized this American country in fact they are from England, Europe, Germany and British.

Kenya is okay but cannot be compared with Nigeria in many ways: Nigeria has the biggest human resources and the biggest economy in the African continent. There is no other place like Nigeria in the African continent that has these resources that I stated.
