Burgmeister, These are a few of my favorite things. Firebird Pups, Ep3s. I love the ChaseTone Secret Preamp however after great perseverance I located a one of first 400 EP3s so I have the holy grail however this is joy in a box. I'll be hunting one down. Stay well mate. Andy
Andy! Yeah, it's great, isn't it? I've tried most of the EP-style boosts, but this one takes the quality level up a few rungs, I reckon. Rock on, mate. Missing you, as always.
Another excellent demo by Brett. Love this drive, what's not to love about a EP booster? I managed to find one, they sell out quick. Hope it's just half as good as I suspect it will be. My Xotic EP booster has been on my board for ages, love that pedal. Can't wait to get this puppy on the board. I have been so unhappy with drives lately glad to find a new builder who is not tossing out a hundred pedals a day.
No one mentions or probably knows that there is an internal DIP it says that will trim the high end off the EP boost side much like the Xotic I imagine, which has the two DIPs for 3db lvl and high end roll off (god how many get that wrong, read the manual info guys). I will be waiting at the door for this one, going to be great I can just tell.
Still to listen to the Esquire demo but to my ears this pedal sounds best with the hi-cut in and the low-cut 'unemployed' 😎. It may be the amps or the guitars but other settings sound a bit shrill.
Pedals with 2 footswitch buttons and a toggle between them. …… I’d be breaking that toggle off in about 2 minutes and I’d be stepping on both those switches when I only wanted one. Ya no! These are pedals for players that don’t gig. Great sound though on this unit. Just get the layout usable
Meh. Some of us have bare minimum dexterity-I won’t consider an overdrive if it doesn’t have two footswitches, and I gig every week. I care much more for compact design, because my back is more important than having the ability to stomp like a drunk baby.
Cool. This why I am a suscriber. The demos rock and Brett explains all that is important.👍👍
Cheers, Rolo! 🙏🏻
I want a sunburst Comet with a bigsby
That harmony has sounded fantastic in all the vids you've done with it so far. Gonna have to buy one.
Nice pedal and playing mate!

Now I'm wondering whether to get this or the VS Audio Effects aftermath!
I was just thinking that myself -lol (I just purchased the Aftermath...but, may also get this baby)
@Signal Chain Haha, I like it, and that's Just how I explain all purchases to my wife!
@@richardburkow3792 Yes I think I Need both, but may need another pedal purge. 👍

😎👍
EP3's are the boosters ya have when ya don't want a booster, kind of like a 'presence' nob. brighten the mids and tops like nothing else.
